1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Buyers looking in a resort market don't realize how many options they have. Focus on what's important to you and let your Realtor know what that is. What are your favorite things to do at the beach, what lifestyle conveniences are you looking for? Buying at the beach isn't just about the condo you're buying; it's about the things you're going to do when you come visit that condo. Make sure you're looking in the right area, not just at the right building or community.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Interview Interview Interview! Just because an agent can "list" your home, doesn't mean they can "SELL" your home.
Start by interviewing multiple agents. Do your research. Selling your home is about so much more than asking a Realtor what price it should list at, and what commission we charge. Be smart, ask the right questions. Ask about their business, what tools they utilize, what resources they offer, and what plan they're going to put in place to custom-tailor a sales program specific to YOU! Start by Googling their name. Do they even show up, and what can you learn about them? This is your biggest investment, treat it accordingly. Once you find a local agent that provides the right services, and has the right experience, make sure they're a good personality match. Look for an agent with passion, energy and drive.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I'm a second generation resort Realtor every transaction that ends with my clients goals being successfully reached is a transaction that I can say I'm fond of. I genuinely love what I do, and I hope it shows. With each client being so unique, anytime I'm able to get a client across the finish line I'm happy.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
My father started a Real Estate business in 1977 in Ocean City. I spent the last 20+ years working with him to grow one of the most successful and accomplished real estate teams in the area.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
ABR, CRS and Associate Brokers designations are all three some of the most highly respected designations in the industry.
