About Graham Klemm

I grew up in Washington CT, but I have now lived in Sharon CT for over 18 years. I know every nook and cranny of Litchfield County & Dutchess County and am an expert on educating clients on the value differences between the various towns and areas. I have been actively selling real estate since 1995. I am a graduate of Rumsey Hall School in Washington CT (class of '89). I then attended Pomfret Prep School (class of '92). I went to Washington DC for College where I graduated from George Washington University (class of '96). I actually began my real estate career in DC and successfully sold real estate there before deciding to return to Litchfield County in 1998. I am a lover of architecture & history. I owned an 1890s Antique for nearly 15 years, which I restored. I now live in a super modern, minimalistic home set high on a hill with 60 acres of sweeping meadows and a river. I am lover of people and my partner and I are constantly entertaining. I love to bring people together and forge new relationships. I continually entertain past and current clients and friends and my home becomes a welcoming place for all to get together. Many of my best friends are past clients, I develop long-standing relationships with people that I do business with, which I think is reflective of the quality people that come to this area - Litchfield County attracts a terrific set of great people! I own and run a boutique family firm with my brother. We have 5 office and 37 agents to help serve our clients & the entirety of Litchfield County & Eastern Dutchess County NY. Graham has been my broker for every home sale and purchase I've made in Litchfield County over the last 20+ years. So I'm drawing on the experience of seven transactions when I say he is, hands down, the best real estate professional with whom I have ever worked. In that same 20 year period, we've collaborated with truly talented brokers in several other locations outside CT (NYC, San Francisco, etc), but no one comes close to Graham. First of all, he knows his market cold. I mean practically on a house by house basis. He has an uncanny sense of the value of a property and, if you are willing to listen to him, he will sell your house quickly. He can also spot bargains (and faux bargains) and is sensitive about how best to approach making an offer. Many other considerations go into selling a house besides just price, and he understands all of them. I'd never work with anyone else, it's that simple.
