I never had to ask her to do anything, she stayed ahead of every single issue. Grace Desiderio is the most genuine person in the business. In fact in the Real estate market, I declare her the best! My wife and I decided to re enter the market after taking a two year break. ZillowVERIFIED I first met Grace around Nov 2005 when I was purchasing my first house. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire process while my agent was MIA. She assisted in getting the purchase closed pretty quickly and was on top of all the little details that go along with purchasing a house (including utilities etc)After this awesome experience, I reached out to her when I was finally selling my house to move to a bigger house because of the new additions to my family :-) She was very responsive immediatly and gave me full details on the current market and came over to give us an idea what similar comps were going for and recommendations on how much to list the house for. She was able to move this house in a horrible time when all the houses in NHP dropped in price. Somehow, she made it happen. We were extremely happy. We off coarse hired her to help find the new house. Long story short, the first house she took us to was spot on and we ended up purchasing it after seeing a few houses. She was able to negotiate a killer deal for us and we went into contract. Now, during that time we needed a temporary place to stay while waiting for the closing. She took care of that as well. She was able to locate a FULL HOUSE for us to rent on a month to month bases while we waited for closing. She was on top of the sellers agents and made sure the house closed as soon as possible.If you think that's the end of my experience with Grace, you would be mistaken. We decided to move out of state this time around and called Grace. She was able to get the house sold within 1 month, and priced higher then the comps around us. Everything ranging from the buyers inspections and bank inspections were overseen by Grace and even the bank acknowledged how smoothly this sale was. She not only got us out in time for our move, but also exceeded all our expectations once again.Whether you are selling or buying, hands down nobody knows New Hyde Park and LI like Grace does. She was extremely helpful in making suggestions for improving the property and recommending the right people for the job. For example, my mothers unfinished basement was a mess. Grace made a number of useful suggestions to repair and improve things and also took the initiative to hire a handyman on our behalf who promptly got the job done at a reasonable price. When the buyers inspector identified a termite issue and a leaky sewage pipe, Grace immediately stepped up to the plate recommending an exterminator and plumber to fix the problems and Grace coordinated with them to do the job. Since I live in CT, this level of service by Grace was invaluable. One of Graces many strengths is her grit and determination to close the sale.
