Since we are fairly new and don't have much knowledge of the area we needed someone that has been around and could tell us more. We were also debating between new and fixer upper, although I am not to handy. Glynis was referred to us by a friend and she was such a big help, she is so easy to talk to. Not only does she know the local market well for rentals, has experience in selling and buying, but construction as well. We had a very long conversation and narrowed things down and figured out what we needed, not just want (big difference) . We presented a fantastic offer and could have closed easily, but the seller did not accept the counter offer in the end. The seller stopped responding, regardless of an almost full asking price offer. We are still renting for now due to lack of time, but will attempt to buy again when we head towards the end of our lease and will use her as our agent again.
