My wife and I are based in the UK and have owned our property in Davenport Florida for 21 years. We thought now was the time to sell our property in the USA and subsequently, after recommendation, instructed Paul and Gillian of Redman Group to act as our Realtors. Paul, Gillian and their team were able to provide the knowledge, guidance, advice and assistance to make the selling process as straight forward and stress free as possible. As overseas sellers, who had never sold a property before in the USA, we needed help to handle the tax aspects of FIRPTA for foreign sellers and this was provided by Paul and Gillian. We were also unaware of the best way to move our money from the sale of our property in the USA. Through Paul and Gillians recommendations and guidance we were able to organise this smoothly and without huge fees being incurred. Paul and Gillian were able to set up remote online closing to save costs for a Notary in the UK and also eliminate the inconvenience of finding one. There were some bumps and obstacles during the sale of our property but once again Paul, Gillian and their Team took care of all the issues, which in turn took the strain away from us being thousands of miles away in the UK. The Redman Team constantly kept us fully up to date as our sale progressed and were proactive in chasing other parties as necessary to ensure a smooth and early closing was achieved. We recently sold our home with Gillian Redman of Redman Group. She was our first choice, not only because she really helped us well finding our home 11 (!) years ago, but we kept in touch and we knew she was the person to go to for this area.
