During the purchase he went above and beyond showing us suburban properties at the drop of a hat and helping us wade through the possible issues both positive and negative. We canceled our first deal after professional inspection by Spy Glass (referred to us by him) as they found several scary questionable issues with potential water infiltration. He was so supportive in this process and we moved on. When we finally found a property he was so on top of all aspects of the purchase that up to the day of closing the seller was still fixing things we required to close. He took the time to go from Chicago to Schaumburg back to Chicago for this transaction. How many realtors would go to that much trouble???!!!! Then when it came time to sell our home of 30 years in Chicago it was a monumental task of clearing out items and he was so patient. He really alleviated my anxiety with leaving the home that I raised my family in to move on to our next chapter in our lives. I couldn't have asked for a better partner to make this life change. He helped us come up with a reasonable listing price to make this an easy transaction. Review Giancarlo embodies what all agents say they do, but few actually practice - put the interests of their client first and NOT just focus on closing the deal quickly so they can get paid.He patiently showed us several homes over a couple months, including making offers that we ultimately backed out on because of issues found during the inspection. Where other agents may have counseled us to find a compromise with the seller so they could close the deal, Giancarlo could sense our discomfort and advised us to move on.When we did find the right home, he was aggressive in negotiations with the seller so we got the best deal possible, and provided great advice on what should or should not be repaired. He also took care of us afterwards, helping us find the right contractors for needed repairs and helpful suggestions to improve the value of the home (without overspending).When you work with Giancarlo you can truly see he is interested in building life-long relationships and it's not just about the transaction at hand. Although there were no issues with our unit and we were current with all of our assessments, we ran into issues selling since our association had some delinquent owners. We had limited course of action against them due to Covid restrictions, but were able to reach a legal settlement agreement with the delinquent units. We considered selling our home in Chicago by owner and then heard from a close friend how Giancarlo had helped them sell their home. He is always available when we need him while giving us space to make decisions. Review This was my first home buying experience and I was extremely nervous at first. A friend recommended Giancarlo to me because she felt he would be the best realtor for my personality. It was indeed a perfect match! The first meeting I had with Giancarlo in his office he broke down everything about the housing market to make sure I had a complete understanding. I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer every single question. During each home visit he would point things out to me and explain what was wrong or right about it. He made the whole search process very educational. After just a few home visits I was comfortable enough to start searching on own using apps like Zillow. Giancarlo was extremely patient and he was pretty much available 24/7. It was a Sunday when I found what could potential be my dream home. I sent him the link and he agreed it looked like a great house, something we had to go see right away. He dropped everything he was doing and met me at the house an hour later. As soon as we walked in we both knew this was it, this was the one! The seller was not very quick at responding but Giancarlo stayed on him. Finally, I got a text from Giancarlo that I got it! Giancarlo was there every step of the way. Even after closing on the house he constantly checked in with me to see how things were going. When I had my first issue in the home I sent Giancarlo a text at 10pm in a panic and he responded walking me through everything and recommending a repair man. Throughout this whole process I switched my financial officer and lender, because they was not patient and understanding enough for me. One thing that I learned early on in the process was that Giancarlo was irreplaceable and that he truly had my best interest at heart!

Over Christmas of that year, while visiting family in Chicago, we reached out to an agent about a place we were interested in checking out. It was Dec 26, and I was sure we wouldn't hear back...and then about 30 minutes later, Giancarlo called. Besides being warm and friendly and easy to talk to, he was incredibly accommodating of our unique situation and set up a showing for the following day (!). We went and checked it out, and made it clear to Giancarlo that while we weren't yet in a position to move, we were eager to learn more about the Chicago market. Another agent might have rolled his eyes and dropped us right there, but over the next couple of years (yes, years) Giancarlo continued to send us properties and information. In the end we found an amazing deal (albeit with a difficult seller), and Giancarlo was able to steer us through a bumpy landing that all ended even better than I expected. He's also an amazing resource for contractors, etc, making my post-closing renovations run smoothly as well. I would definitely recommend Giancarlo for you buying and selling needs.
