We met Gabe through a couple of open houses that we went to and were impressed with not only his knowledge of the industry but he genuinely listened to our wants and needs and made us feel that he would work for the best interest of us. He proved that time and again. He would send us listings that we could choose from to set up appointments. If there were houses that we really wanted to see, he would get them booked as soon as possible. I found glowing reviews for the "Get Shook Team". Beverly and Gary Shook were fabulous! They went above and beyond for us. We visited twice to house hunt for 4 days. They never had us sign a contract, worked with us when we bounced around with the budget and the location, and helped us determine which schools would be best for our family. They were great listeners and helped guide us to what we really wanted in a home. While we were still relocating, they arranged for multiple carpet measures, painters, a gas line installed, new doors hung and garage cabinets ripped out/removed. Then, when we arrived to Twin on Jan 5 (post snowstorm), our driveway was shoveled, welcome home goodies basket on the table, and a home cooked meal warming in a crockpot! They thought it all out. It was divine! They are so caring and kind and a great link to the community as well. You won't be disappointed!

ZillowVERIFIED I chose Justin as my realtor because he had background and drive to help me sell a recreational property that I have had a hard time selling with other realtors. Justin placed my property in various online areas to hopefully conduct a quick sale. He called around and got me the best deal for pumping our septic tank, he made several trips to the property (2.5 hour drive) to put up signs and take pictures, he was always honest and upfront, (even if I didn't want to hear the news on the other end of the phone) and if I needed to get ahold of him he always answered my call. I would of never been able to do this on my own. He advised me of changes I needed to make with paperwork or fine details of the agreement. When I wanted to adjust the price or make a rash decision he was a common sense voice telling me to hold up and let things work out for a few more days. I ended up selling my property within the time frame I needed and the price I wanted! I believe it was all because of Justin's knowledge of today's complex real estate trend. He also helped my buy my new home which was happening in the same time frame as selling my recreational property. He guided me through the whole process and I learned a ton from him. I trusted him whole heartedly from the beginning to the end of both selling and buying my properties. Justin has a "can do, positive" attitude which gave me the confidence to not get discouraged when we came to a bump in the road. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do... I will definitely be calling on Justin to help out.

I was amazed at the efficiency and the quickness of their responses. We went through house after house, as I am particular in what I want, and they had all of the information on every house. They were amazing at pointing out things that I wouldnt have known and certain flaws and how much it would cost to fix. Beverly and Gary are so nice and have a great sense of humor! ZillowVERIFIED GET SHOOK! Serioulsy - look no further for agents. Gary and Beverly went above and beyond for us at every turn. We were relocating from out of state, we are Canadian, and we hadnt ever bought property in the U.S. Gary and Beverly did so much more than help us buy a house. Gary is a top notch negotiator, and was incredibly knowledgeable with intricate details (all of which we would have had no clue about). Beverly took the time to talk me through the area, pre-schools for my son and answered a ton of questions I had, all before wed even visited to buy a house. They set us up with countless resources, from a mortgage broker, to electricians, cleaners etc etc. There were a number of things that needed attention before closing and they made all of those arrangements for us, which was invaluable as we were out of state and wouldnt have known where to start. We were always made to feel welcome and they were available to us whenever we needed, before, during and long after wed closed on the house. Having the Shook team meant that when things were busy with negotiations, they could continue to service other clients and each was able to provide every client with their best skills and attention. ZillowVERIFIED My husband was offered a job in Twin Falls, ID. Before we accepted the job, we contacted Gary and Beverly to help us get a better feel of the area. I told them we are not interested in buying right away. We would prefer to rent for a bit while we look for land and build. I told them a little of what we were looking for in land options. Even though they were not going to make a sale right away, they were more than willing to show us around. And that they did! They spent over 4 hours with us. They showed us places to shop, eat, hang out, etc. They gave us information on close by camping and activities in town. They gave us information on the schools and neighborhoods. We looked at some land that might interest us in the future. They were quite the tour guids. Before we went up to Twin, we were not sure if we would accept the job or not. Gary and Beverly helped us make a confident decision in moving to Twin Falls. It was a huge bonus to have both a male and female, Husband and Wifes opinion on things. Since we have accepted the job, they have continued to help. Relocating can be very difficult, but they have continued to help us find a rental that will work for us. Its a huge releif knowing I have someone up there that can help us out since we are so far away still.
