ReviewDee was such a pleasure to work with! She really understood my needs and what type of house I was looking for. She was very frank in telling me when a property I was looking at was not worth the money. She would tell me, "We can do better than this!" She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out with a question and she set up viewings for the day I called or at the longest, the very next day. She communicated very well during the purchase negotiations and gave me great guidance but always left the final decision to me. Review Where to start? in my eyes Geraldine ?Dee? Mattera from Luxe Realty is a real estate God! Geraldine (Dee) Sold my home in Berlin and I recently purchased my new home through her. She is extremely competent at what she does! she never got tired of answering my questions, even the same ones over and over agin! LOL. Dee works very hard , checked in all the time and had an amazing response time. She has excellent negotiating skills and a strong knowledge of the Real Estate business. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Review I started working with Dee Mattera around September 2021. This was my first time buying a home and I really didnt know the process or what to expect. The market, in my area, was quite competitive and of course all of my bids kept being rejected. Dee was supportive throughout my disappointments. Even though she knew that I was feeling the refusals and would get dejected, by the entire process, she was always positive and optimistic and explanatory about the undertaking of trying to buy a home. Dee lives about 50 minutes from me and every time I wanted to take a look at a home, she was always available to make the showing possible. She was so available to me that I didnt realize that I wasnt her only client, until a couple months into the process. Like I stated earlier, I was not educated , on the role of a realtor but her responsiveness, to me, made me feel as if I was her number 1 priority and that made me feel special. This past February, a bid of mine was finally accepted and Im proud to say, as of the writing of this review, I am currently living in my new home. Dee will forever be the godsend that helped me navigate the cut throat world of real estate with ease, integrity and positivism and I will be forever grateful that she was the agent who helped me to facilitate this dream.

Review Buying and selling a home is a painstakingly emotional process and response is everything when it comes to buying a home during a pandemic. I missed opportunities on two properties due to delays in scheduling viewings. Honesty is a must you must be able to trust your realtor and he must be able effectively communicate with you. I will tell all my friends and family what I experienced. No answer on a request to view a property for 4 days after a being let down on other properties is unacceptable. To then tell me to take a hike if Im unhappy is disgusting.

Review Did a wonderful job helping us sell our house. Highly recommend. Very responsive hard working realtor. Was a bit taken aback by her staging (SO not our taste), but was able to work out details with her and it might have been effective - she did get the house sold. Review Very disappointed in my brief contact. Wrote to her on the Zillow app, and then called after not hearing back. She asked what the property I was interested in, and halfway through me saying the address she said thats already been rented. She followed up by asking if we were looking to rent or buy, and when I responded rent , she informed me she was busy and had to go. I understand commission is higher on a sale, but there had to have been a more polite approach.

Review We contacted Geraldine initially based on positive online reviews, and couldn?t have been more satisfied with the process. While the process of homebuying was much more difficult than we?d imagined, based on the levels of competitiveness, Dee gave us excellent guidance, unflagging availability, and deep knowledge about a really wide range of homes that we looked at. Particular high points were helping us with an extremely hard and drawn out closure process, and she helped us to the very end! I hope we?re in our new home for a long time, but if we were to move, I wouldn?t hesitate to work with Dee again or give her anything but the highest recommendation.

Review We just purchased our first home in Newtown, Ct. I found Geraldine on Zillow as she was listed as an agent on a house we were interested in. From the start, Geraldine was knowledgeable about all ideal areas to purchase, to include schools for my four children, and tax rates. I liked her the first moment I met her!! She is a tough negotiator, patient, and extremely honest! Those were my three biggest qualities that I felt were extremely important to my husband and I in searching and buying a home.
