Review Eli and George are hands down the best agents if you are looking in the Brookside/Fairway markets. I cannot possibly overstate how knowledgeable they both are with regard to the homes in this area, having lived there for the past several decades. Not only are they responsive, but they have their fingers on the pulse of the neighborhood and market, knowing when homes will hit, what their worth should be, and what interest will likely be generated. Eli is also an incredible teacher, who sought to provide us with all her insights to help us grow as new home owners. We had a very long home search and she was with us the whole way and never gave us any notion that we should hurry up. She was super responsive and handled every single one of our needs. She has an extremely good sense of the market. On top of the best in class service of the home purchasing process, after we were in our home she recommended contractors for the work we wanted/needed to get done, and worked through any issues we had after closing. We had long been familiar with the Medina Team as working expansively in our area, as well as the Team being recommended to us by some of their past clients. Though I had already moved George handled all the details that I didn't have time to get done (cleaning the house for showing, removing a washer/dryer, getting a painter in). This was the LEAST stressful move that I ever had thanks to the Medina Team. Review I've been talking to different realtors, trying to find the best one. George was one I talked to. I did not choose him for these reasons. I) I thought his time-management skills left a lot to be desired. Said he would text or e-mail and didn't or did later than he said. Was late for our meeting. 2) I unlocked my house for his partner to view and didn't find out until 4:30 that day that she hadn't gone over when he said she would go that morning. 3). Brought comps to our meeting for another neighborhood. Blamed that on his "admin" team who does the other paperwork in selling. Never did receive them via e-mail as he said. 4). His ego is quite large. I do want a confident realtor, but not one that talks about himself more than the topic of my house. He even gave me a DVD of some show he was on 3 year ago (!). 5) Clearly didn't like my house the way I did. I can't recall any good comment except the large lot. But then he claims he "tells it as it was" which I didn't see. He was nice. but again, the ego.

Review What can I say. There is no agent like George Medina. Sure he will sell your house faster than anyone -like magic. Sure he will make it an absolutely seamless transaction. Sure he will be there every step of the way BUT I also grew to look at him as a very, very good friend almost immediately -not a superficial friend - but a real, sincere, honest friend. In fact, the day we closed, I was sad- sad because I was going to miss him. Selling a house is emotional -he gets that. He treats you like his first client, his most important client and, above all, a friend. Doesn't matter if you are listing your home for $30K or $999K, you are all the same in his eyes. George just loves what he does, he respects everyone, everyone is equal, and darn he knows his stuff.

Review On a score of 1-5 stars, George gets 10 stars from us. He was unbelievably great. We live in TX, inheriting my son's house which RLB rented to young men over a 10 year period who made a mess of the property. The day after the last boys moved out, George was there with people to remove trailers of trash left behind and someone to clean the house to make it presentable to buyers. He was available night and day when I had questions. His response was immediate. The next day he had several appropriate (fixer upper) buyers to see the house. The first one who saw it, bought it at a great price for us. I don't know how we were so lucky to him for our agent. He was wonderful to work with. We can't recommend him high enough.

We had hoped for a sales price and their staff not only got what we had wished for but as it ends up even move. We showed the house for 2 days and got 5 above asking price offers. All of the offers were great but the top was was incredible. At the last minute there was a mistake by the buyers agent, Dani (Transaction Manager ) called and solved with problem while I was shopping.Go with the Medina time and you will be amazed how well they do your sale or purchase.

Review I had to sell my sister's house after she passed away. Since I live in VA, it was a pretty daunting task. Working with George made it so much less stressful. He recommended other professionals that I would need to help me with the process of getting the home ready to sell, and they were all great to work with, also. George was always able to answer my questions and spent the time as we worked through dealing with a reverse mortgage. He and his daughter, Eli, know Brookside, and what buyers are looking for. Review I met with Eli at the house so she could evaluate it for pricing purposes. She showed me the comparable homes in the market and we agreed on a asking price that worked for me and matched what we saw in the market. We saw a comparable a little above our asking price that was sitting and not selling. And later we saw them lowering the price on that comparable.The first person that we showed the home to made us a full price offer plus closing costs, and we accepted the offer. We feel like making the correct pricing decision allowed us to sell the home immediately without having to worry if/when someone would make an offer. Eli helped us along the way lining up all of the inspections, and even put us in touch with contractors for the few repairs that the buyer requested. Eli held our hand from the beginning to the end making sure that it was a very easy process throughout. She made sure that we understood everything that was taking place and it couldn't have been an easier closing. Even though the sale was over and the deal was done, Eli showed us her appreciation for our business at closing. I never do reviews, but felt like this experience was very special and wanted to return the favor for how she treated us throughout the process. You will be in good hands with Eli Medina.

I only give 4/5 stars for process due to one "dropped ball" along the way and it may have been more the bank's fault than the Medina team's but, in a perfect world, they'd make sure it _all_ went smoothly. Besides, reviews without legitimate criticism are a bit hollow, in my opinion.
