The process of selling my previous condo, and the complications of my unique situation to purchase took nearly a year and a half. Nevertheless, Geoff treated me royally with updates, information, flexibility of plans, and checking in to make sure I was secure and supported for the entire 18 months. All this for a relatively low purchase price/sales commission. He is thoroughly informed on current real-estate, is honest yet gentle and compassionate, and has insight into what clients need. Every unit he chose to show me was a definite potential satisfying the great bulk of my wish-list, and the one he found I purchased is as close to ideal as any realistic buyer could hope for. He also assisted in my finding an effective (and fair-priced) lawyer, an excellent moving company, and neighborhood advice which Id put in the aEURoeabove and beyondaEUR? category. ZillowVERIFIED We sold our co-op in Riverdale in the Bronx with Aaron Kass and Geoffrey Weiss, and it was the best experience we could have hoped for w hen dealing with a realtor. They were hands-on the whole way through, advising us on all the steps to make our apartment as marketable as possible, and when we found the right buyers, they helped us to negotiate a price above the appraised value of the home. This was first-time home-ownership for the buyers, and the buyers agent was also not familiar with the process of purchasing a co-op. Geoff steped in and helped them with their application, and kept constant communication with board and management company, and kept the sale on-track. Without his efforts, it would have taken quite a bit longer to close. These guys are real experts and know the area like few other realtors. Without their experience, we would have had a much harder time na vigating what is a complicated process of selling a co-op in New York City.

ZillowVERIFIED Here's the TL;DR: Geoff and Aaron are incredibly attentive, caring, personal agents who also happened to get us 50k more than we thought was possible. I'm not sure I could ask for anything more. Here's the story: We met with Geoff and Aaron as we were getting ready to sell our first house and Geoff asked what our experience buying and selling real estate had been like. I said plainly that buying the house we were now selling was probably the worst experience of my life (we did it without an agentaEUR"got pressured, pushed around, and bullied). He promised this would be an improvement. They made a convincing presentation and are fun in a way that you want to be friends with them after the sale, but here's the important thing they did in that meeting: They gave us realistic expectations even as they were trying to get our business. Their estimate of how long it would take to sell our house, which was a pretty odd and singular property in the area, was within a week of what happened. They also made our particular situation as easy as it could be. We had moved out, but they were at the house watering plants, picking up mail, and meeting repair people as necessary. We had someone push a BS offer for WEEKS as soon as it went to market and they dealt with that situation, knowing the specifics of our house and what kind of buyer we ultimately needed to find. Ultimately they found that buyer and the price was much higher than what we had even discussed as a top end in our initial meeting. The last thing that makes them so right for where they work is that they are so damn interested in all the history that's in the area. The Bronx is an odd man out in New York real estate but there are so many beautiful properties and special parts of it. Geoff and Aaron can go chapter and verse on most of it. If you live in the BX and are looking to sell or you're trying to figure where the hell in NYC you can buy real estate (it's probably the Bronx), they will help set you up for success.

He is very responsive and a real researcher who will find presice answers to all your questions. Geoff will also save you money in every way possible. He really understands who he represents and puts their interest as a priority. For example, while my previous agents asked me to offer more if I really wanted an apartment, Geoff would alwas offer to negote a lower price prior to making a decision. At the end the seller accepted to reduce the price by 10% and eliminated some other fees. He is very knowledgeable, diligent, responsive and responsible.
