Since graduating college more than three decades ago, he's worked across business, sales, and marketing -- all of which prepared him for a natural transition into real estate. Gus Lafkas graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a BBA Degree in Business Administration & MBA Masters Business Administration intending to become an entrepreneur. Gus became an owner of a Chain Restaurant at the age of 23 which gave him the organizational skills, the patience and the caring that is so needed in business. Little did he realize back then that his life would take a turn in a different direction. He sold the business and began his mortgage career in 2000 followed by his passion of selling homes in 2004. To Gus, this feels natural and not like work! In September 2008, Gus joined Douglas Elliman Real Estate, which he calls HOME!
