ZillowVERIFIEDFranks experience with me has been thoroughly unsatisfactory. He has demonstrated incompetence and dishonesty, and I am determined to avoid working with him in the future. I expressed my interest in viewing a house listed on Zillow by clicking on the listing. Upon entering my phone number, Frank contacted me. During our conversation, I informed him of my desire to visit the house and scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 1 p.m. The drive to the house would take approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival, I encountered a security guard at the entrance. She inquired about my purpose for being there and I informed her that I was meeting an agent to view the house for sale. She further inquired if the agent was present and I assured her that I was certain he was, as my appointment was scheduled for 1 p.m. The security guard requested that I contact the agent first so that she could speak with him. Unfortunately, there was no cellular signal, preventing me from making a call. Consequently, the security guard informed me that she would contact the agent on my behalf. I provided her with Franks phone number. Upon her return, the security guard informed me that Frank had informed her that I did not have an appointment with him. I was deeply upset by this revelation, as Frank had been dishonest. The security guard advised me to turn around, as I would be unable to drive without my agent. As soon as I regained cellular signal, I contacted Frank and inquired about the reason behind his deception. I informed him of the time it had taken me to arrive there. Frank said he didnt think our appointment is still on, as he had sent me a text message to confirm our meeting. However, I hadnt responded. I explained that I hadnt received any text message from him and I questioned why didnt he just called me to confirm our appointment since I didnt respond on his text message. I insisted that I would have seen the text message if I had received it. All he could offer was an apology for not receiving my text message. He also mentioned that the owner wouldnt leave the house that day making it impossible for me to view the house anyway. He suggested rescheduling the appointment, offered he had other nearby houses that I could view immediately if I wanted. I agreed to visit the other houses, but Frank indicated that his other agent would meet me there, but he would contact me first. Upon receiving his call, he informed me that I would have to wait for an hour for his arrival, as he was traveling from Lodi. I expressed my frustration, stating that I had already driven for 45 minutes and now he was requesting an additional hour of my time! I was so frustrated and ultimately decided to cancel the appointment, as I would not endure such delays. I strongly advise against hiring this agent, as he has proven to be incompetent and deceitful.
