They responded to our initial emailed request to view a property within minutes and promptly showed us the first listing of interest. The unique advantage of having two extremely knowledgeable realtors working together on our behalf was absolutely outstanding. Fran has decades of experience in the construction industry having built many homes including the one we were initially considering and he was able to point out many advantages/disadvantages accordingly. Lisa is not only an excellent realtor but a great communicator. She completely grasped our vision, facilitated the whole process and prepared us every step of the way. Lisa and Fran are both intimately familiar with the geographic areas they serve and provided us with detailed information about the various sections of Ocean City and the anomalies of that particular market. On a personal level they are both cordial and warm and made themselves available at all times of day and night, even on weekends when needed. Both provided a very detailed and critical view of each home and pointed out features that we did not see or consider. For instance, the availability of parking, lot sizes in various streets and desirable areas for rental income are things we would have missed without their guidance. At every point in the process they helped us and put us in contact with their vast network of other industry professionals whenever we needed services outside of their realm. When it came time to make an offer and negotiate the sale price of the home we chose, Fran and Lisa exceeded our expectations helping us attain the very best price in the end, well beyond what we thought possible. Once we moved on to the closing process, they worked with us tirelessly every step of the way and made an otherwise overwhelming process very simple, providing us with key tips to navigate each step. Between them there wasn't a question they couldn't answer, they were incredibly responsive and helpful, and they were ready at a moment's notice to go see properties during the LONG search we had for our home. Over four years we probably visited dozens of potential vacation homes, and no matter how long it had been since we'd seen them last they knew everything about our search, our preferences, and our goals. In the end we got exactly what we wanted, and they closed the deal promptly (and at a lower price than our target even in a very hot market). ZillowVERIFIED Who says selling a house is easy? No one! BUT..who can MAKE selling a house easy? Lisa Joyce and Fran Davish from The Davish Company in Ocean City, NJ. Our parents house in Ventnor had been our aEURoehomeaEUR? for over 60 years, but it was time to sell it. Selling a house that you live in is quite different than selling a house where 3 siblings live in different parts of the state and country. Our concern was finding a realtor that not only knew the market (which was changing very quickly at the time), but would treat us and our parents home with the respect. Lisa was the perfect realtor for us. She was straight and honest with us from the start in regards to what to expect. Lisa was in constant contact with all 3 of us from start to finish. ZillowVERIFIED Fran Davish & his associated Lisa Joyce were a pleasure to work with. Ive been vacationing in the north end of Ocean City for over 20 years. Ive spent a ton of time on the boardwalk, and biking from North to South inlets. But buying a rental property is different than using a rental property. Fran & Lisa are extremely knowledgeable of the Ocean City and surrounding areas from a real estate perspective. Since we spent so much time touring houses, they shared a lot of their knowledge in helping me find the right rental property. We looked at beautiful historic homes that just needed a little loving touch, which would be perfect for someone that lived in them, but less than ideal for someone 100 miles away. They helped me understand the parts of Ocean City that were more likely for flooding which in and of itself doesnt preclude a property with a beautiful view. They also helped me understand from a construction perspective what was an easy fix, and what would be a little more costly. At my price range, all of the houses needed a little extra work before they were rental ready. In the 3 months we looked at properties, I learned so much about not only Ocean City real estate, but also quid pro quo when you have renters from what parts of Ocean City rent well, to decorating ideas for the home for renters, to storage, etc, etc. I am so happy with the property we chose, not just from an investment perspective. I cant wait to use it during my own weeks down the shore. Plus I have all off season to have a vacation home! This house was definitely the right house for my husband and I! I highly recommend using Fran Davish to purchase a home in Ocean City!
