I was working with him long distance so we mostly communicated by text, which added a dimension of difficulty. We had a bit of a rocky start as a result but ultimately the contract was finalized timely. He is a bright and charming young man. My only negative regarding his negotiation skills was simply that we were not kept as informed as I would have appreciated. He could have been a little more proactive in that regard. However, once I asked, he always responded quickly. His office staff was also very congenial and helpful.

When my husband and I first decided to enlist him as our agent, he found time to schedule a sit-down appointment with us to go over basic "first time home buyer" information. He told us about what to expect, how long the process usually takes, and how much to expect to pay for escrow/taxes/closing costs. Fernando made everything easy to understand and was always readily available to answer questions. After going over our wants/needs for the house, he showed us a variety in our price range until we found the perfect one. The housing market was rough when we entered, but he did everything he could to negotiate and get us a great deal.
