FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
In today’s Dallas real estate market, preparation is everything. Before touring homes, get pre-approved with a trusted local lender so you understand your true buying power. Next, focus on location — think neighborhoods like Kessler Park 75208, Lakewood 75214, or Preston Hollow 75230 — each offers a unique lifestyle and value opportunity. Partner with a Realtor who knows how to negotiate beyond the price tag, from inspection credits to appraisal strategy. My advice? Don’t chase every listing — be strategic, patient, and ready to act fast when the right property hits the market.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Selling a home in Dallas isn’t about luck — it’s about presentation, pricing, and precision marketing. Start with a Realtor who can evaluate local data and position your home where buyers are searching — whether that’s in Oak Cliff, North Dallas, or the Park Cities. Professional photography, cinematic video, and digital ad targeting now drive the highest returns. In my approach, we craft a narrative around your home that makes buyers fall in love with the experience — not just the address. The result? More visibility, stronger offers, and faster closings.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve had the privilege of representing a diverse range of clients across the Dallas–Fort Worth metro — from first-time homebuyers and relocating professionals to luxury sellers, seasoned investors, and developers. Many of my clients come from repeat and referral business because they value data-driven insights, clear communication, and results that speak for themselves. Whether it’s a modern build in Bishop Arts 75203 or a historic Tudor in Kessler Park, my focus remains the same: deliver an elevated, client-first real estate experience.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One of my favorite recent sales was in the heart of Oak Cliff — a mid-century property that had been in the same family for decades. We helped the sellers prepare through light staging and storytelling that highlighted the home’s history and community connection. Within days, we secured multiple offers and closed above asking. For me, it wasn’t just a sale — it was preserving a piece of Dallas heritage while helping the next owners write their own story. That’s what real estate is all about.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
My path to real estate started after more than a decade of military service as a U.S. Air Force instructor pilot and corporate leadership experience in finance. I’ve always been drawn to service, strategy, and helping others achieve big goals — real estate became the perfect intersection of those values. Over the past 6 years, I’ve built a career helping Dallas buyers, sellers, and investors make confident, informed decisions — always with the mindset of “service before self.”
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Absolutely. I hold two business master’s degrees, combining financial acumen with operational expertise that allows me to guide clients through complex negotiations and investment analysis. My experience as a top 1% Dallas Realtor, host of The American Dream – Dallas Edition on TRVL Channel & HGTV, and co-founder of ALTA Realty Group has given me deep insight into market trends, digital marketing, and deal structure. That education and real-world experience ensure every client — from first-time buyers to high-net-worth sellers — receives exceptional representation and results.

Joshua did an amazing job from start to finish. We were first time home buyers and super scared. He helped us navigate the waters and made it successfully to closing in record time. Joshua was honest and upfront from day one. He was very professional and simply allowed us to soak in each home and really helped us narrow the home we wanted. I would recommend him to any of my friends or family. His spouse even made us sweet treats which won me over.
