ZillowVERIFIED I just just closed a house which was listed under Etan. Overall, Etan knows his job and responded my texts and phone call immediately. He is a good real estate agent for sure.Nonetheless, nobody is perfect. So does Etan. I think Etan could really use some help to improve his communication skill in a processional way and knows his boundary. The following are the things I think he can improve on:1. After the contract was executed, Etan called to discuss one of terms related to the termination of the contract if I, the purchaser, am unable to obtain a firm commitment with 45 days. I should not have any further liability. Etan stated that the seller was worried about this term and ask if I could do something. That is completely unprofessional since Etan has been in this industry 19 yrs ago. The contract was initiated by the seller' attorney, this term is a standard term, and the house was a not hot sale. It is not clever and wasting both parties' time to revisit such a term again.2. During the process, I had to terminated the retainer with the buyer's/my incomplete attorney. Etan acted very disrespectfully by saying that it is so bad. Excuse me, I was the one paying the fee not you, ok?3. There was a misunderstanding whether I fired the buyer attorney. Etan thought I did not fire the buyer attorney, but I DID in fact. Then Etan called and yelled at me, saying that I made him look stupid. Wow, that was outrage. I felt that Etan needed to learn how to handle misunderstanding gracefully. That was immature the way he handle it.In summary, all of these things were not terrible. I look forward to working with him again as a buyer or a seller. I hope that Etan is capable of handling complicated issues gracefully and professionally.
