ZillowVERIFIED We met Erin in 2010 when we were looking for a place to rent. She was the listing agent for the property that we ended up leasing for seven years. In 2017, we were in the market to buy and began looking at houses aimlessly. We remembered how smoothly the process went with the rental and went looking for Erin. We met with her for about an hour and decided to make her our agent. Erin took the time to explain the entire process and helped us set realistic expectations based on the current local market conditions. After being outbid on the first four properties we made offers on and after a lot of back-and-forth negotiations, we finally closed and are enjoying our new home. Throughout this process, Erin kept us informed and answered all of our questions; we never felt as though we needed to make quick decisions nor did we ever feel overly persuaded into making one choice over another. I wanted someone who would do a great job of advertising. We chose Team Kociela and I am so glad we did. The other realtors wanted to sell our house for much less. They didn't understand the value of a house in North Tustin. Erin Knew the true value of our house. She also had amazing suggestions to make my house beautiful. We received a great offer right away. Then we made an offer on our dream house in North Tustin. Erin was an amazing negotiator and we got it for the price we wanted. I called Erin daily. She never was frustrated with all my questions. One day when I didn't call, she called me to check if I had any questions that day. During one stressful day she came right over with dark chocolate and information to ease my stress. As first time buyers, we were very clueless on what to expect when purchasing a new home. We met up with Erin and Jay one afternoon and they broke down the whole process for us from start to finish. The information that they provided us armed us with the knowledge to go out and begin shopping for our new home.Through a lot of searching and ups and downs, Team Kociela was with us the whole way. We searched for about a month, put in offers and were denied numerous times until someone finally accepted our offer.Erin and her team were always prompt and responsive when we found something we were interested in. I love the fact that they are high tech and most communication was through email or text. It made things very easy for us. When it came time to buy, I was happy that, again, most everything was electronic. With all of our busy schedules, it was very nice to be able to just open our email and sign our documents electronically.After 30 days of escrow, we closed and are now homeowners. With the help of Team Kociela, my boyfriend and I went from renting a room out of a house to becoming homeowners in a matter of two months. For me, this was a highly emotional sale, as the home had been in my family for my entire life and my aunt had just passed away. I felt overwhelmed.My husband picked Team Kociela after reading positive online reviews and we are so happy that we used them. Erin, Jay and Richard couldn't have been more professional, knowledgable or personable during the process. We had never sold a home and they walked us through every step of the process and they were quick to answer all of our questions.They moved very fast with getting the house prepped and on the market. All of the vendors that they used to fix up the house were fantastic. We received offers during the preview period ( before the house was technically on the market) and following the first (and only) open house. Based on their suggestions, the improvements that we made to the house ending up giving us about an additional hundred thousand in profit and the house sold for twenty-five thousand over the asking price. We couldn't have been more pleased. We felt that Team Kociela really fought for us to get the best deal and made the whole process as easy as possible.It was a great experience and I highly recommend Team Kociela.
