ZillowVERIFIED I have bought property in Canada and Ecuador, but this was my first experience in the US. US law is vastly different than what I was used to and so it was essential to have an agent who was well versed in the processes and legalities. We only had a week in Detroit, so we needed someone who was available, prompt and a good door opener. We also needed someone who put our interests ahead of selling us any old property. Her advice was precise, on the mark and impartial.Once Erika knew what we were looking for, she sourced potential properties and organized our visits for maximum efficiency.We left Detroit after having made an initial offer on a property and, since we would be out of touch traveling, had sufficient confidence in her that we authorized her to negotiate on our behalf. The result is that we now have a done deal on the property we wanted at the price we wanted. All of this should be enough, but the document review turned up elements that had me ready to walk away. When I told this to Erika, she went to work and got the issue solved which was over and above what I expected of her.I wholeheartedly recommend Erika and will certainly use her again if we decide to do another deal in Detroit.
