By chance, we found Erika on a holiday weekend when we were trying to see various properties and we were instantly impressed with her responsiveness. Despite the holiday and our last minute contact since we would be leaving town in a couple of days, Erika amazingly dropped her holiday plans and made us a priority allowing us to see the property that we eventually ended up buying. We simply cannot say enough about Erikas knowledge of the market and her commitment to work to get us the the best deal possible during purchase negotiations. Erika was professional, communicated extremely well, and had excellent follow up to be sure all open issues were being addressed in a timely manner. ZillowVERIFIED We went into this process somewhat blindly, just browsing lake houses in the TC area as they came available on Zillow. After finding one that peaked our interest, we requested a tour by clicking the "contact agent" button. At that point, Zillow paired us up with Erika and we couldn't have been happier. Erika guided us through the process, and the many hurdles unique to buying a lake house in a fast-paced seller's market. Her knowledge of the area and the different lakes was invaluable. Living 325 miles away and dealing with COVID restrictions added additional challenges, but Erika was always ready and willing to help however she could. She gave us virtual tours, gave us a jump of new listings and worked around weekends when we could be up in the area. When we finally found our dream home, she guided us through the offer process. Although we initially lost the house to someone that well outbid us, her advice of making a second position offer allowed us to finally purchase the house when the primary offer fell through. She then guided us through the inspection, appraisal and closing processes, always available to answer our many questions. Once closed, the house needed a little work and her relationships with local contractors allowed us to find a contractor that could beat the winter weather. We have dealt with many real estate agents over our lives, both personally and professionally. Erika is hands down the best we have ever dealt with!
