My wife and I interviewed a few different realtors and Erik definitely stood out as the best choice. We loved that Erik had many years of experience, grew up in the valley, still lives here, and focuses primarily, if not exclusively, on the real estate market in the San Fernando Valley. The fact that he is also one of the top real estate agents in the area, has a very easy going personality, and has stellar reviews here on yelp also helped solidify our choice.After getting started with Erik he set us up with an AMAZING handyman Sebastian to paint the house and make general repairs here and there. We have had several bad experiences with contractors and working with Sebastian was excellent. We have since hired him to work on our new home and am very grateful to Erik for his referral.After all the repairs were done Erik got to work with his photographer to take some really great shots of the house. I was honestly surprised at how good they looked. We immediately had interest and received multiple offers. At the same time we were looking for new homes with the hopes of placing a contingent offer. We looked at many different homes over multiple weekends and Erik was very accommodating. I never once felt like he was getting tired of looking at so many homes, and I could tell he wanted us to find that perfect home. After finding that perfect home we put in our offer only to find out that there were 8 (I believe that is the correct number) other offers.. We told Erik how much we loved the home and he went to work. After working his magic he got the sellers to accept our offer over everyone else's!While in escrow we discovered some minor to moderate issues with the home and felt like we might have over bid. Again, Erik went to work and negotiated to have almost all of our closing cost covered by the seller! The escrow process was also very smooth and we closed in just under 30 days even over the holidays with the help of a lender he recommended (Artin at Prime Lending). At the close of escrow we went to the house to pick up the key with our 2 kids and Erik had a very nice surprise waiting for us inside! Erik was extremely helpful listing our property at the right price to sell almost immediately. After it was listed we had multiple offers right after his open house...all above asking price! He was extremely helpful throughout and even after the close of escrow. From being there for the various inspections, to following up with us to ensure all the necessary paperwork was completed to even bringing in our garbage cans when we were out of town. Erik knows his market and has excellent communication. When I first, decided to sell my house back in November, I called him and told him I wanted to sell, but in the Summer. I wanted to prep my house to sell. He offered advise and suggestions on what I should do to have a quick sale. I had the work done to the house in February and was ready to list at the end of April. At first, I wanted to list high to compensate for low ball offers, but we didn't get any offers. Erik suggested lowering the asking price just a little bit and boom, got multiple offers. Closed escrow in exactly 2 months after listing. The whole process was smooth. He takes care of everything. Erik is trustworthy and honest. He is very easy going and at the end of everything you will have made a great friend.

We were unsure if we would have to talk to a few agents before deciding on one, but we didn't have to worry about that after our first discussion with Erik. He LISTENED to our wants/needs in a new home, DIDN'T pressure whatsoever, communicated with us WHENEVER we had a question, and made it feel as if we had known him for years. During our first discussion Erik actually recommended an area that wasn't on our list (and actually had no idea even existed!). Turns out, this would become our new city we call home, and we couldn't be happier. What impressed us the most was that the first home he showed us was the one we eventually purchased. We thought it was too good to be true, so we kept looking. Sure enough, less than a week later, we put in an offer, and opened escrow on that first home he recommended. Talk about knowing the area (and his clients!!). He made the entire process so easy, recommending all inspectors, lenders, etc. He even recommended a specialized plumbing inspector on top of the general inspection due to the age and location of our home which ended up exposing a destroyed sewer line. Because of this, we then had time to work costs into closing with the seller. Whew! At the end of the day, my wife and I were so impressed with the seamlessness of the process thanks to Erik. We wished we met Erik when we first decided to put our house on the market because our old agent didnt produce any offers. When we decided to put our house back on the market for the second time, Erik presented us three offers within a week and a full offer included.
