Community Involvement
I believe being involved in the community is an important part of being a local real estate professional. I currently serve as President of the Vermont Short-Term Rental Alliance, where I work with property owners, local stakeholders, and legislators to support responsible vacation rental ownership across the state. For a number of years, I have also been appointed as the Stratton representative to the Windham Regional Commission, where I help shape conversations around land use, housing, transportation, economic development, and regional planning. This role provides valuable insight into the issues influencing the future of our communities and the local real estate market. In addition, I have served with the Deerfield Valley Rotary Club and remain committed to giving back to the communities I serve. Beyond volunteer leadership, I enjoy highlighting local businesses, restaurants, outdoor recreation, and community events throughout Southern Vermont because I believe buying a home is about finding the right community as much as finding the right property. Whether I'm supporting local organizations, showcasing the unique lifestyle our region offers, or helping newcomers discover everything from hiking trails to small businesses, my goal is to help people feel connected to the place they call home.

Outside of real estate, I enjoy living the lifestyle I help my clients find. Wellness is an important part of my life, and you'll often find me strength training, hiking Vermont's trails, skiing, snowshoeing, paddleboarding, or simply spending time outdoors in every season. I'm passionate about healthy living and enjoy learning about nutrition, healthy homes, sustainability, and longevity. I love reading books on health, psychology, personal growth, and human performance, and I'm always looking for ways to apply what I learn to everyday life. I also enjoy traveling to experience new places, supporting local businesses, exploring Vermont's communities, and discovering great coffee shops, restaurants, and hidden gems. Music is another passion of mine, and I perform throughout the region with the Erica Reynolds Band. Most importantly, I cherish spending quality time with my family and friends. My advice is to look beyond the number of bedrooms and the asking price, and think carefully about how the home will support the life you want to create. Consider location, daily lifestyle, maintenance, energy efficiency, future resale value, and the true cost of ownership, not just the mortgage payment.

The process took nearly two years and required patience, persistence, and a great deal of strategy. We evaluated multiple properties, navigated changing market conditions, and adjusted our approach several times before finding the right home with the land and opportunity they needed. Once we secured that property, I also helped them prepare, position, and successfully sell their previous home.

My interest deepened when I began exploring real estate investing for myself. I realized I wanted to combine my industry background, investment perspective, and love of helping people, so I earned my real estate license. I hold a B.A. in Sociology from Smith College and a J.D. from Western New England University School of Law. My legal education strengthened my skills in contracts, negotiation, research, risk assessment, and understanding complex issues, all of which are highly valuable in real estate. I also received the David Burres Memorial Law Prize and served as President of the National Lawyers Guild during law school.
Before becoming a REALTOR®, I worked in housing, property and asset management, land use, and conservation planning. That experience helps me evaluate properties through a wider lens, including ownership costs, zoning, development considerations, long-term value, and how a home fits within its surrounding community.
I also hold several specialized real estate designations, including the NAR GREEN Designation, the Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist, or RSPS, designation, and the Seller Representative Specialist, or SRS, designation. These credentials provide advanced training in energy-efficient and healthier homes, resort and vacation properties, second-home transactions, and strategic seller representation.
In addition, my firsthand experience as a short-term rental owner and real estate investor allows me to advise clients on vacation homes and investment properties from both a professional and practical perspective.
