The process with Eric proved to be as I would expect working with a true professional. Eric is responsive and truthful. He has a plan and sticks to it. Eric was present at 99% of showings (a colleague would be there if Eric was unavailable), no lockboxes. His attention to detail through to the closing stood out. I would enthusiastically recommend Eric to friends and family. In fact, I sent my son to Eric and he is now the proud owner of his first home.

ZillowVERIFIED Eric is simply awesome! He is not your typical agent. During showings, Eric would spend a considerable amount of time at the house looking for any potential issues. He would get on the ground to inspect for termites and water issues, check the attic for mold and look around the exterior, no matter the weather. He genuinely cares about finding a good home for his buyers. Eric is well known and highly respected in the real estate community. Many agents know and love him, which we felt was important in our ability to purchase a home with so much competition. He has excellent relationships with other professionals involved in the home buying process including inspectors, builders and attorneys, helping to provide assurances for any concerns we had. My husband and I are very particular buyers and it took us a long time to find a house in Canton. With patience and a great sense of humor, Eric stood with us every step of the way, when we truly believe other agents would not have. He was always available, responsive and honest. With his humor, he also helped us stay positive when it seemed we might never find a suitable house. We are grateful to Eric for all he has done for us and would recommend him highly. We still stay in touch and are thankful for that because Eric is someone we would dearly miss otherwise.

We looked a so many homes and there were times we wanted to give up but Eric always reassured us we would find the one, and the one ended up being a home that we really had to show up and be aggressive for and Eric was just that. He showed up and negotiated until late night hours to make sure we got the house. I couldnt imagine working with anyone else again. I have already referred him once to friends and will continue to do so. I should also mention he sold my condo in 2 days and got everything done when he said he would.

ZillowVERIFIED It seems like every other person you meet has their real estate license, however, every now and then you come across a true professional - and that is Eric Hanlon. There was more than one house I looked at that he told me to "walk away" from because it wasn't right for one reason or another. He wasn't out to sell me any house, but to help me find the right home for my family. When the right one did come on the market, he negotiated against multiple offers to get us the house. Eric is both personable and knowledgeable. When you go to look at houses with Eric it's like bringing a home inspector with you for free! He's not looking at layouts & paint colors- he's in the basement with a flashlight looking at the heating systems, wiring, checking for water damage, mold, and outside checking the roof, looking for termite damage asking about septic systems...the list goes on and on. Don't waste time making offers on houses that will fail inspection. I Strongly recommend working with Eric to save you time, aggravation and what could be thousands of dollars. We are so greatful Eric was recommended to us and you will be too!

We have always heard that buying a home is one of the most stressful processes you will go through, but honestly we have no clue what people are talking about because that is not the experience we had at all. Eric made buying a home fun, while demonstrating a great amount of market knowledge, and maintaining practicality. He did a great job of helping us narrow down what we wanted versus needed and played the role of counselor at times when we began to feel disheartened about not finding the perfect place early on. I was trying to sell my home with no hope for a number of months prior to signing on with Eric. Eric was very realistic but also gave a lot of hope. My home was a family home and in trying to sell it there was a lot of tension. Eric was a great mediator and was very gentle but firm in helping all understand the process, the reality and to keep all tasks that need to be completed on a timeline. I was very impressed with how he worked with the family as a whole and yet still keeping confidentiality and boundaries very strong. He has a great personality and is able to be serious yet also has a sense of humor. He is very connected to the neighborhood and knows all local information. He also has been in the fields a long time and has may contacts. He was able to show my home to many people. Eric is also very good with communication. He kept me up to date with phone calls and was very responsive to my emails. Eric was able to sell my home and allow me not to have any debt. Working with Eric I always felt that he made me a priority and he was very quick to respond to any questions even if the response was just to let me know he was working on resolving the issue. I have spoken with friends regarding working with Eric as my realtor and they cant believe how he helped every step of the way and how hands-on he was. My friends had different stories with their realtors where they felt they did all the work themselves in finding a house and the realtor pretty much just collected their commission check. This is not at all the case with Eric and I think anyone would be very pleasantly surprised with what a difference working with the right realtor can make. I truly feel that if we had worked with a different realtor that our experience and outcome would not have been as positive.
