Buyers form opinions quickly, so preparation, presentation, lighting, decluttering, and professional photos matter. I also recommend working with an agent who understands market data, buyer behavior, home preparation, and negotiation. A strong first impression can help attract more interest and stronger offers.

I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, including first-time home buyers, move-up buyers, relocating families, new construction buyers, investors, and homeowners preparing to sell. I also work with sellers who want full-service guidance with smart pricing, design-informed preparation, marketing, and negotiation.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

One recent transaction I’m especially fond of involved helping a family find a home that not only fit their budget, but also had the layout, light, and long-term potential they were hoping for. My design background helped them see what could be improved, and my market experience helped them make a strong, confident offer. The process went smoothly from search to negotiation to closing, and the best part was seeing them feel truly excited and at peace with their decision.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

I got started in real estate after beginning my career in interior architecture. I studied Interior Architecture and worked on residential and commercial design projects, which gave me a strong understanding of space, layout, finishes, and how people use a home. When I returned to North Carolina with my family, real estate felt like a natural next step. It allowed me to combine my design background, analytical thinking, and passion for helping people make smart decisions. Today, I use that experience to help sellers prepare and position their homes well, and to help buyers recognize quality, potential, and long-term value.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

Yes. I have a B.A. in Interior Architecture and hold both the SRS® Seller Representative Specialist and ABR® Accredited Buyer’s Representative designations. This helps me guide clients with pricing, preparation, design potential, negotiation, and smart decision-making.

What can I keep on a kitchen counter during showings?

During showings, the goal is not to make the kitchen look empty aEUR" it should look clean, spacious, and easy to use. A good rule: keep only one to three intentional items on the counter.
