She went out of her way and got a floor plan sketch to help with my inquiry. We later scheduled a flight for a full day of home viewings (15ish houses) which she set up very smoothly. She helped us navigate the environment and was forthright about values/pros/cons. She was on top of the buying process and has continued to provide us with assistance even after the deal was done (such as helping us find local contractors for home improvement).

ZillowVERIFIED I'm pretty sure I called Emily our 'Angel Agent' from the moment we first met her. I'm going to tell you something I didn't know upon first meeting Emily, but it's something that tells you just how dedicated she is to not only her career but her prospective clients as well. I was interested in a house (that I later bought, yay!) and hit the 'contact me' button on Zillow which brought me to Emily straight away. She was immediately communicative and helpful so I was already pleasantly surprised and we hadn't event met in person yet! We did meet up at the home very soon after our initial contact (it was cold and wet and miserable - just exiting our winter season) Emily was not feeling well, but met up with us anyway -- no hesitation, no mention of the fact that she was battling against her health for the better good of our future in this potential home. She smiled and chatted with us; showed us the home, told us our options and the next steps if we wanted to proceed. I never felt 'pressured' and she did not come off as 'sale-sy' at all, even though selling a house is her actual livelihood. She wanted US to decide if the home was OUR perfect home. That's just the person she is. Once we said 'YES!' to the home, Emily went above and beyond with communication; both in relation to us and taking on the more stressful things like talking with the sellers' agent, setting up appts, negotiations of fees from the seller toward our purchase, etc. She was always on top of things and ALWAYS had our best interest at heart. On our closing day, I was happy to have the home, but sad that we wouldn't be seeing/hearing from Emily as much. She is such a golden heart and has a team behind her with just as much passion/love for helping others find their perfect place. I would highly recommend Emily above ALL ELSE. She is second to none and although our experience with her is all finished up on this home, I will definitely be using her for any other home endeavors in my future. Thanks, Agent Em! ;)-Chelsea

ZillowVERIFIED We were first time home buyers and found a house that we absolutely loved! Emily was the listing agent and since we did not have an agent she served as a dual agent for us and the seller. Emily did not disclose to us that the seller was a real estate agent that actually worked for her only that the seller was an owner/agent. The fact that he worked for her was something that we found out on our own. When we signed the contract we thought she was extremely thorough and had gone over everything with us. She told us that our $500 (good faith) would not be returned after the 30 day waiting period but if we did not get financing then our $2000 earnest money would be returned. We trusted what she said and signed the papers. The day of closing we found out that our financing was not going through and we received a letter of denial from the mortgage company. We were devastated to find out that the papers we signed stated the "seller" would keep the $2000 if financing did not go through so not only were we without our dream home but we lost over $3500 between earnest money, good faith deposit, appraisals etc.. We should have gone over the papers more thoroughly but being new to this we trusted what Emily said. We feel that Emily was looking out for the best interest of the seller only and would not recommend her services as a dual agent.
