ZillowVERIFIED We used Emily as our realtor to purchase our home, and unfortunately our experience became very disappointing after closing. During negotiations, she strongly encouraged us to offer well over asking price despite the home already being priced higher than recent neighborhood sales. We were uncomfortable doing so and were not provided meaningful comparable sales to justify the recommendation. At possession, my husband was rushed through the walkthrough and security deposit sign-off. Important issues were missed, including dents in appliances, damage from move-out, and the home being left quite dirty with food still in the refrigerator and personal items left behind. Most concerning, the seller stated on the disclosure that the AC system was functioning properly, but within less than two weeks of ownership we learned the system needs full replacement at a cost of approximately $10,000. What frustrated us most was the lack of support after closing. Before the sale, there was a great deal of enthusiasm and reassurance about helping us find our aEURoeforever home.aEUR? After closing, however, communication and concern seemed to disappear once the commission was earned. Buying a home is stressful and expensive, and we expected more guidance, advocacy, and protection throughout the process. Based on our experience, I would not use Emily again or recommend her to friends or family.
