Review We stumbled on A1 Mountain Realty and Ellen by accident while requesting more information online about a piece of property on the New River. She was not the only realtor to reach out during our searches but she was the best and we never even thought about using anyone else. She immediately offered to show us the property at our convenience and took the time to ask just what we were looking for. She showed up that first day with a few other possibilities to review as well. She was very responsive and honest with her thoughts and suggestions, and always provided top notch customer service. We just closed today on a piece of property that we believe is perfect for us. Thanks to Ellen! We definitely recommend Ellen Phipps and A1 Mountain Realty.

Review Ellen's knowledge of the local real estate market and her expertise with both buying and selling real estate proves very valuable to buyer's and seller's alike. Which Ellen has helped me with both buying and selling. Ellen is a good listener and adds tremendous value to a process for her clients. I have found only a few real estate professionals who truly "fits the bill" as a real estate professional. Her clients are always the most important part of the process.

Review Hands down the best. My husband and I met Ellen through a listing after meeting with other realtors that didn't seem to understand our needs. She is knowledgeable, strategic, determined and treated us like family. She helped us every step of the way and found us the perfect home in our price range. She even checked in with us after closing to see how the move was going! I will recommend her and only her to my friends and family. She is trustworthy and will do what it takes to find the right home. I am so grateful that she is a part of this huge milestone in my family's life!

Review We found Ellen on Zillow and she was rated as their top realtor in Ashe county, NC. By being a retired contractor over the years we have used numerous realtors. Ellen is without a doubt the best realtor I have dealt with a lot of years. She is very knowledgeable of the current housing market conditions in Ashe county. By having her thumb on the market pulse, she was able to bring us numerous offers for our home that were actually higher than the asking price. She is extremely detail oriented and made the listing, sale and closing of our home simple and easy.I liked the fact she was always available to answer questions regarding the sale and closing of our home. This lady has her act together and it was a real pleasure to work with her.The next time we need a relator Ellen will be at the top of our list.

Review Ellen was my agent when I recently purchased my first home. The High Country real estate market seems to be getting a bit crazy, but she helped me to move quickly without feeling pressured. I really feel blessed to have had such an incredible level of sanity and comfort brought to what can be an overwhelming process. Ellen responded quickly to my messages, she has a great list of vendors, and she really knows the area. On top of all her professional attributes, she is a warm and genuine person who is a pleasure to be around and to talk to.

Review Our vacation home was by no means an easy house to sell, due mainly to the remote location. Ellen generated a lot of showings for us, way more than we'd had in the past from other realtors with a prior vacation home. Her level of service and support was excellent. I would definitely work with Ellen again.R. Smith

Review Ellen is an awesome realtor, she worked with me to show me homes I had found via Zillow. Once I found the home I wanted, she worked very hard to get the best price possible for me. She is very knowledgeable of the area, has excellent negotiation skills, and is on top of the whole process of purchasing a home. I would definitely recommend Ellen and A-1 Mountain Realty to anyone looking for a home in the Ashe County area or even any other part of the state (NC), as I believe she would also be able to find a comparable realtor - one with the same aggressive/get-it-done style/attitude as her own. Will not hesitate to seek Ellen out should I ever want to sell as well. She will work just as hard to sell a property as she does in helping someone buy. Great lady to work with!
