Elaine was an amazing agent to work with - not only were my sister and I were not based locally, but our aging dad is a very difficult person to work with. Elaine was able to navigate the mutliple time zones with ease (my sister, my dad, and I are all in different locations), setting up video calls and managing repairs and maintenence to the house without us needing to be there. She has an extensive network of contractors, and was able to take an aging house and rework it in weeks within our budget. She has a great sense for what we invested repairs into, and kept us focused on what mattered to get the home sold. On top of all this, our dad is aging and can be generally "grumpy" - he wanted to sell the house, but was also easily overwhelmed. Elaine did a great job communicating clearly with him, walking him through what needed to be done each step of the way and taking the time to answer his (many, many, many) questions. Her patience with him was simply amazing, as I can imagine others may not be willing to take the time to work with someone like him. At the end of the day, Elaine sold our house well above asking, and very quickly. In just a week, we had 30+ showings, and were in contract shortly after. She handled the buyer negotiations effectively and professionally, providing guidance on how to respond and proceed as different questions came up. We are so lucky to have found Elaine, and would recommend her to anyone looking for an agent. You really can't go wrong working with her.

We called up and spoke to Elaine and soon realized one simple truth. Elaine is an absolute force to be reckoned with and will move mountains to help get us into the right house. She did that and more for us to get us to where we are today. We cannot be happier with Elaine or the house that she has found. Her knowledge about the ins and outs with regards to the market and it's fluctuations made our lives that much easier and the whole purchasing process was smooth as silk. I have to say, we certainly put Elaine to the test, with all of the wants and needs in a house that we were looking for. She worked tirelessly with us for the better part of this past year, and she always had a list of 3 or 4 houses to walk through with us. Elaine also has an extensive list of contractors under her belt that really impressed us. They thoroughly inspected the houses that we were looking at, coming up with the list of concerns and pointed out the items that they felt needed a closer look and which ones could be put on a back burner for the time being. The guys explained everything that they saw, why they added them to their lists or not, and what they thought the next course of action should be regarding each item. They really did a great job laying things out in a way that was easy to understand. I also have to say that the guys were not alarmists, not pushy in any sort of way with their findings, and all around did well to set our minds at ease. In the end, Elaine, if you are reading this, thank you for all of your hard work and determination. We really appreciate you and your efforts throughout our home buying experience. When we ultimately decided on the area, Elaine picked up with us right where we left off. In our search this year, we were facing significantly low inventory and intense bidding wars - her help in guiding us through this type of market was incredibly helpful in a pretty stressful time. Among many other areas of help, what I found to be most helpful was Elaine pointing out potential pitfalls with homes that could be costly either immediately or over the long haul - she has a very good understanding of construction and where issues with construction could arise. She spent a lot of time with us - either over video chat when we weren't able to go in person or in person with us - visiting properties. When we ultimately found the home we really wanted, she pushed really hard for us and to put us in a position get the home. Lastly, she was incredibly trustworthy to deal with, and at no point did we ever question that she had our best interests in mind in finding a home for family. Our experience was wonderful and there is no one else we would recommend. Her knowledge of the area is encyclopedic and she so routinely always went the extra mile for us. We can't tell you how many times we walked in a house and she had either already bought it, sold it and at the very least, been through and it knew all the remodels it had been through. She was diligently prepared and always knew all the recent comps in the area. Her network knew no bounds: she knew the appraiser, our paralegal at the title company and our attorney. When it came to the actual process, she knew of listings before they came on line and always got us in as the first viewing. She knew the finer details of homes, fixtures and appliances and thought about things that we never would have like 'this will make a good hangout room for him as teenager' (he's 2). Once we found "the one", within hours, she had some of the most thorough inspectors lined up. In the days after the inspection, she had several local tradesman over to come give quotes for various fixes that were needed. She was a master in the negotiating, ensuring the fixes we wanted were done before the closing, even in this seller's market. As if all of that weren't enough, the week before closing, she arranged all of our utilities for us and scheduled the cable company. The Elaine Eadon experience is unparalleled.
