ZillowVERIFIEDWe worked with Dustin to purchase our home in New Paltz. From the beginning, he asked detailed questions about how we actually wanted to live - not just budget and bedrooms, but specifics. In our case, direct access to bike trails was non-negotiable. Over the following months, he filtered properties carefully and only brought us homes that truly aligned with that priority. When we toured houses, he didnt stay upstairs talking about finishes. He went straight to the basement with us. He reviewed heating systems, water setups, electrical panels, service dates - and walked through what we were seeing. Drawing from his background as a contractor, he assessed structure and mechanics in real time. That gave us clarity long before formal inspections. When we found the house that ultimately became ours, he dug into the background of the property and the people involved in the deal. That context shaped how we structured our offer and approached negotiation. At the most critical point in the negotiation, I had an emotional reaction and was ready to shift course. Instead of escalating, Dustin calmly walked through the numbers, the timing, and the goals we had set months earlier. He reminded us what we said we wanted. Because he had built trust over time, we listened. That steadiness mattered. Throughout the process, he made himself available well beyond normal business hours. And even after closing, he continued supporting us aEUR" connecting us with vendors, answering questions, and helping us settle in. The relationship didnt end at the transaction. If youre looking for a flashy, fast-talking NYC high-rise broker, Dustin isnt that. He operates with a Hudson Valley temperament aEUR" measured, relational, grounded in the local community. In our experience, thats an advantage when buying here. Were glad he was on our side.

ZillowVERIFIED My family and I are coming up on a month living in our new home. Its rare that major decisions like buying our first home are reaffirmed this quickly, but we have to say that we are extremely happy with our choice. We wouldnt have been able to get to this feeling with out the tremendous support provided by Dustin Leibowitz. We were looking for a while and I truly believe if we didnt have an agent as patient, knowledgeable, and diligent as Dustin we would not be living in a house that feels like its already our home. One of Dustins best skills is how versed he is in the concept of home ownership. Things that being a first time home buyer, I just didnt know. His background outside of real estate, was such a useful tool in helping us feel comfortable with our decisions, because he provided the knowledge and insight for us to make well informed decisions. Timing is the another key attribute that Dustin possesses. The housing market is volatile and not necessarily friendly to young first time buyers. Dustin helped make up for that by his communication with the selling agent. Most of the time when we made offers, I would have to imagine that our offer was not always the best offer, but because of the speed and timing in which Dustin communicated our offers, we were put in contention. I truly believe this is one of reasons our offer was accepted on our new home. Further proof of Dustins ability to partner with his clients in finding the right home for them, we were on the cusp of buying a completely different place than where we ended up. We decided after making an offer that the place was not going to work for us. In a moment where I could have seen other agents getting inpatient or even upset with their clients, Dustin was kind, supportive, and driven to help us find what we were looking for. If you couldnt tell by now, I whole heartily recommend anyone looking to buy a home to use Dustin Liebowitz, If your lucky like we were to have him, you will have a great chance at finding the home you were meant to have.

ZillowVERIFIED Dustin was the first real estate agent I found through Zillow, but I couldnt have been more happy to have found him. From the start Dustin was always available when I needed him, his knowledge of the area I wanted to find a home in was 2nd to none. His friendly and approachable demeanor was pleasant to work with but always maintained a level of professionalism that was not lost on me. We found our home in record time thanks to Dustins approach and knowledge. Would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

ZillowVERIFIED Dustin surpassed our expectations in all areas. He is tremendously knowledgeable, an excellent listener, an exceedingly sharp negotiator, and always represented our interests--often in ways that we wouldnt have known to ask for. In addition to his intelligence and experience, we valued his intimate knowledge of the area as well as his construction background, which proved tremendously helpful. He always went above and beyond, and even after closing hes continued to be a resource. We feel tremendously lucky to have found him.

ZillowVERIFIED Dustin is a great agent who is as proactive as they come. Once you've found something, he is quick to get you inside for viewing and was always more than ready to answer questions about any property. Once we found "the one", everything was sent up and ready within 24 hours. He kept us up to date on the process with everything he knew as it came to him, and everything went as smoothly as it could. Definitely recommend him for any househunting needs.

ZillowVERIFIED If you are looking for a realtor who is honest and on your side then Dustin is the person for you. As first-time home buyers, especially during one of the most volatile housing markets ever, we felt confused and uneducated when it came to buying a home. From the jargon to the process we often found ourselves overwhelmed. Not only did Dustin remain professional, but he also was kind, considerate and his knowledge was priceless. He never tried to push us towards homes that were on the top end of our budget or that had features we didn't want because they would be a good sale for him. He genuinely seems to have his clients' best interest at heart and understands the impact of lifelong client loyalty. He answered countless questions, not just about the many homes he showed but about the mortgage process, listing, home improvements, and many of the tangential things you find yourself having to navigate when buying a home. While we often were frustrated with the other "professionals" related to the process from lawyers, to mortgage brokers to inspectors and others, that was never the case with Dustin. He was our "go-to" guy. His knowledge often was on the same level as others who he did not have to support or help but did, this speaks volumes to his professionalism, skill, and knowledge. I have recommended Dustin to several people already and he will be our first call when we are ready to sell our current home(and buy our retirement home)!

ZillowVERIFIED Dustin is absolute best-in-class as a realtor (and as a person)! He is deeply knowledgeable in so many ways - construction details, home valuation, locations, you name it. He is extremely detail-oriented and is also a great people person. He expertly handled our offer on a home we had fallen in love with and consulted with him team to ensure that he had thought through all facets. Without his guidance, I am sure that we would not have had an accepted offer on the home. He also went above and beyond numerous times throughout the closing process with issues that we encountered. He talked me off a ledge on more than one occasion and I cannot emphasize how much we truly appreciate him. We are absolutely thrilled with our dream home. I would whole-heartedly recommend Dustin to any prospective buyers or sellers in the area; with him, you are in great hands!

ZillowVERIFIED In a wildly competitive market after having been out bid multiple times, we decided to switch realtors after a year of disappointment. When we met Dustin he was able to encourage us and assure us that we would find a place that we loved. Fast forward just a few months later, we have the keys to our first home and we couldnt happier with it. Thanks Dustin! We couldnt have done it without you!

ZillowVERIFIED Dustin went above and beyond to make our home buying process smooth and easy. We choose to pursue new construction which we knew could be daunting, but Dustin continuously went above and beyond for us. Throughout the 8-month period it took to sign the contract, build the house and then finally close, Dustin was always just a phone call away. I can't even begin to count how many last-minute, panicked phone calls I made to Dustin, and every time he would quickly find a solution or make calls to ensure we got exactly what we needed. We can't say enough good things about Dustin and recommend him to anyone who is looking to work with someone who will really go to bat for you.

ZillowVERIFIED Dustin was recently the agent for my parents while they were in the process of buying their first home. I can proudly say that my parents were successfully able to close on their first home and it was because of Dustin that this was possible. He was truly a godsend during what could have been a very difficult and scary process. He was so approachable and always available. I cannot tell you how many times my family and I called/texted him during this process and he was there to walk us through each step. Everyone needs a Dustin in their life when it comes to buying or selling their home! You can truly tell that he takes his job seriously. He was never pushy, was always honest and sincere with us whenever we had any questions or concerns. I cannot say enough good things about the guy! I truly dont know what we would do without him. It is because of him that my parents are able to enjoy the home they had their eyes set on. I cannot recommend Dustin enough!

This type of knowledge base made him an asset during negotiations and even assisted us in determining if a house was the right fit.
