My family and I are coming up on a month living in our new home. Its rare that major decisions like buying our first home are reaffirmed this quickly, but we have to say that we are extremely happy with our choice. We were looking for a while and I truly believe if we didnt have an agent as patient, knowledgeable, and diligent as Dustin we would not be living in a house that feels like its already our home. One of Dustins best skills is how versed he is in the concept of home ownership. Things that being a first time home buyer, I just didnt know. His background outside of real estate, was such a useful tool in helping us feel comfortable with our decisions, because he provided the knowledge and insight for us to make well informed decisions. Timing is the another key attribute that Dustin possesses. The housing market is volatile and not necessarily friendly to young first time buyers. Dustin helped make up for that by his communication with the selling agent. Most of the time when we made offers, I would have to imagine that our offer was not always the best offer, but because of the speed and timing in which Dustin communicated our offers, we were put in contention. I truly believe this is one of reasons our offer was accepted on our new home. Further proof of Dustins ability to partner with his clients in finding the right home for them, we were on the cusp of buying a completely different place than where we ended up. We decided after making an offer that the place was not going to work for us. In a moment where I could have seen other agents getting inpatient or even upset with their clients, Dustin was kind, supportive, and driven to help us find what we were looking for.
