She helped us realize what we needed to do and, equally helpful, what we didn't, as well as how to make simple fixes that didn't cost much. She was patient and unfailingly supportive when our on-the-market date had to be pushed back as contractors were hard to find. She guided us through the many forms we had to fill out and tasks that must be done, as well as when things had to be done and in what order. She answered our many questions promptly, often outside of business hours. And when the house went on the market, she guided us through the process of accepting the best offer and closing the deal. I recommend her, and her partner Doxie Jelks, who was very actively involved when the house was on the market, scheduling the many showings and ensuring that our house got positive attention. I was surprised at the price we were able to to sell our home. Lisa helped with EVERYTHING and gave us the best direction every step of the way. She was on top of everything from the very beginning. Three months later when we decided to sell our home we called Doxie. We were doubtful our home would sell since this was our second go at it. Within two weeks Doxie had us an offer! Thirty days later our home was sold and with her help we already had an offer on a new home. The purchase of our new home was full of events but through out the process Doxie was there in every way. Extremely responsive to my unlimited text messages sometimes at odd hours and even we she may not have agreed with our decisions she always tactfully and professionally weighed in with her opinion in a way that helped us reconsider. Doxie immediately replied to my email requesting more info on the home buying process, got me started on the right path and promptly had me viewing houses. She listened to what I wanted in a home and showed me homes based off the things I told her were essential to me. After a few weekends out looking, I found a home. When my seller didn't want to hold up to his word on his agreement that he signed off on, Doxie went above and beyond the call of duty to help me get the house I had fallen in love with! Any other person would have walked away, but Doxie encouraged me to go after what I really wanted. Lawyers and the city I was moving into got involved. It ended up being a very ugly situation but Doxie made me feel at ease. I was a first time home buyer and she explained everything step-by-step without making me feel pressured or rushed. I was lucky to have found her on this site and would put money on it that you won't find a better agent anywhere. Very professional, courteous and thoughtful. What other agent (or anyone you do business with for that matter) remembers and gives you a gift on your birthday?! After all was said and done I got the keys to my new home and Doxie was there with my first house warming gift, brownies for my brand new fridge in my brand new home! She didn't stop there, she even kept in touch with me to make sure everything was going smoothly.
