We honestly didnt know exactly what we wanted when we started, but DJ was patient with us, listened to us and really took the time to understand what was important to us. He never made us feel rushed or pressured. What really stood out was how hard DJ fought for us during negotiations. When it looked like we were about to enter a bidding war, he moved quickly and smartly with the sellers agent and helped put us in the best position possible. He was always looking out for our best interests and was not afraid to fight for us. A friend connected me to Douglas and he helped so much throughout the entire process. He is also prior service, so he understood my "language" and explained everything in detail for me. There was no question I asked that he didn't have an answer to. The whole process was smooth and enjoyable. I also sold my house through Douglas Gutierrez. I trusted them to be upfront and honest with me because I had such a good experience with buying through them. Again, they answered all of my questions, and believe me, I had a lot of questions. Doug was amazing I know a lot of realtors but Doug stood out because instead of saying you want a house let me show you listings. Doug was like lets get you financed. He guided us through the process and was patient. He didnt rush us to purchase but instead wanted to ensure we found the right house for us. He deserves 10 out of 5 because not only did he do his job well when we needed things that werent his job he helped us. He knew solar contacts, people to help remodel, movers and painters. For goodness sakes when we thought the water wasnt hot enough he reminded us to turn up the water heater. The standard of care Doug showed was amazing, so Id say go with Doug because hes different and better hes not going to just email you lists of houses, hes going to get you in a home!

This was our second attempt to sell our home, the first was a disappointment because the agent was lacking. So, we were a bit nervous especially because we were living out of state and we had tenants in the home at the time. Doug was amazing, he gave us time to think over our decision to sell, provided us with the necessary information to make the decision making process easier. His confidence gave us the confidence that this sell was going to be different from the last. Needless to say, our house was off the market after the first day of showings. Although the process took a bit longer due to tenants moving out and the buyers not wanting to assume landlordship (I made that word up but it works ) he kept us updated throughout the entire time.
