Some updates may not provide a return on investment, and your agent can help you prioritize what truly matters to buyers in your market. This can save you time, money, and unnecessary stress while helping you sell your home faster and for the best possible price!
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I work with a diverse range of clients, including first-time homebuyers looking for guidance through their first big purchase, move-up buyers ready for their next home, downsizers seeking a more manageable space, and investors searching for great opportunities. No matter the situation, I provide expert advice and a personalized approach to help my clients achieve their real estate goals with confidence.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
A real estate investor I work with referred me to a family member who needed help settling an estate after her father passed away. Understanding the need for a smooth and efficient process, I advised her on a few strategic, low-cost improvements that would attract buyers and maximize their sale price.
Once we listed the home, it generated strong interest, leading to multiple offers. When our first buyer's financing fell through, we quickly re-listed, and once again, we received multiple offers. This time, my client accepted a strong cash offer, and we closed in just a couple of weeks.
It was rewarding to guide her through such an emotional and complex transaction, ensuring she got the best possible outcome with minimal stress.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I sort of fell into real estate. After serving as a children's pastor, I decided to step away from ministry but wasn’t sure what my next career move would be. I briefly considered selling insurance, but my wife suggested I look into real estate instead.
I took the required classes, got my license, and quickly realized how rewarding this career could be. Now, I love working with clients, guiding them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives, and helping them achieve their dreams and goals.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have a BA in Spanish Business with an emphasis on Marketing, which has given me a strong foundation in communication and market strategy. I also have a Masters degree in an unrelated field.
Working with Key Realty, I’ve had access to extensive training in all aspects of real estate. Now, as a broker, I not only teach those classes but continue to learn through my experiences and the agents I mentor.
To stay ahead in this ever-evolving industry, I attend both the Ohio and National Realtor Conventions annually, keeping up with the latest trends and changes. I’ve also worked with three personal business coaches and am a voracious reader, always seeking new ways to grow and better serve my clients.
