About Douglas Clinkenbeard

Douglas retired after 20 years of service in the military and obtained his real estate license in 1996. He earned both his GRI and CRS designations and received his broker's license in 2000. He was inducted into the Re/Max International Chairman's Club in 2004 and was honored for lifetime achievement in 2008. Stephanie Wade was deceiving, pushy, and rude. She lied to me concerning the buyers needing a place to live until closing on my house. Stephanie tried to trick me into renting the house I was selling to the buyers for $200 for 15 days, but I later discovered that she would have to pay for a hotel out of her commission to accommodate the buyers. That killed my trust in her. The buyers had to stay in a hotel for 30 days. Stephanie was pushy when she was tiring to get me to let her auction my home. She has an auction business and repeatedly asked me, time after time, to let her auction it. I felt uncomfortable under her pressure. Stephanie was also rude because she spoke down to me after she had to start paying for the buyers hotel with her commission money. I observed a drastic change in her attitude after she was spending her money. She became lazy and wanted me to do her wok. For example, she told me to make phone calls regarding the closing. I felt she was angry because she was losing her commission money. Also, she wanted me to drive over 100 miles round trip in the snow to her office and pick up documents and take them to Meade county for a signature from another individual. This was Stephanie's job to get the signature not mine. She became lazy and wanted me to do her wok. I will not do business with Stephanie Wade again.
