ZillowVERIFIED I relocated to Cedar Rapids at the beginning of 2018 from out of state for work, and my plan was to live in a hotel until I could move into a house. I had very little knowledge of the area when I began my home search. I was under a tight timeline to purchase a home, because my family was still living over 1000 miles away waiting for me to find permanent living arrangements. Doug understood the tough situation my family was in, and he went out of his way to help me purchase a home quickly so we could be reunited. He met me for the first time on the Saturday before New Year's, and we had an offer accepted on a house in less than a week. We closed on our new house 5 weeks after I first arrived in town, with no local knowledge and no realtor. Doug is an incredible realtor who cares for people and delivers impressive results.

When we reached back it to him he was awesome and got our house on the market as soon as we were ready without being pushy. He provided advice along the way. Despite his busy schedule and ours he was always able to make time for us. We never felt like we were bothering him with all our questions and or requests (some even cam late at night - sorry!). He sold our house in less than two weeks! He kept all his promises and was there until the end with our best interests in mind. He helped us out of a few pickles along the way too! Doug and his team helped us find our beautiful new home and made the process as easy and seamless as any we have to date! Doug was wonderful providing helpful information and ideas along the way with home preparation, answering all our questions (over and over again)when it dealt with pricing, photos, MLS, open house, ect. The best was when we needed help from other services to prep our home for showings, Doug provided a list of reparable businesses that were able to help at short notice and did a wonderful job for a fair price and the icing on the cake was having the opportunity to use the company truck for that last minute moving.
