It was amazing and he went above and beyond to make us happy! I am glad you asked!! We are John and Claribel Boubaris! We reside in NY and like every other traveler in 2021, we were so glad and thankful to finally go away somewhere! Like every other year before 2020, our destination in April is always Florida, to Disney and see my parents. Which happen to live in Solivita. We stayed with them for a couple of days waiting for our time share to be ready. My husband in conversation happen to mention "I love your home" to my parents. Well, it opened up a big can of worms...honestly I am always happy to visit, but to live there is another big story. My parents responded, "since you have time, would you like to go see the new models?" "We both said, ok, but WE ARE NOT BUYING, WE ARE JUST LOOKING"! They mentioned Doug, a good friend of theirs that happens to be a realtor.... we agreed. But we felt, we didn't want to waste Doug's time. The day came and we met Doug. His presence was so friendly and professional. We went around to a few homes and he was very patience every single time answering every question and providing us with paper work about each and every home. We ended the meeting after about 4 hrs and this poor guy never showed any signs of being tired or having enough of us, (lol!) We expressed, after seeing quite of few homes and thanks to his continuing positive attitude, We finally knew what we wanted. And to be honest, we didn't even know exactly what we wanted until he took us around. He did his homework and contacted us another day and we set up another appointment to met up again. This is when he brought us to the home that we now are proud to say IS OUR NEW HOME IN FLORIDA! We are so blessed and this experience has showed us there are Realtors selling houses, but with Doug we found a Realtor that brought us to our dream home. Doug Bennett has helped me sell two very different homes over the last six months. Doug has done an excellent job along with being a pleasure to work with. The first home was a half-duplex in east Orlando. Along with the standard sales analysis to determine list price, Doug provided three cost analysis spreadsheets each based on a different list price. We agreed on a list price, Doug prepared a comprehensive listing on the MLS, and two days later we had a good offer and closed in less than a month. I have bought and sold over 25 homes, this sale was by far the smoothest and easiest. The second home was a single-family residence in the northern suburbs of Orlando. Doug again provided three sales analysis along with the sales comparisons. The Florida state lock down due to Covid-19 began mid-March 2020 and we listed this property April 15, 2020, which made determining a list price a bit tricky. Doug then prepared an excellent comprehensive MLS listing, along with a virtual walk through video shown on the MLS. Within three weeks we went under contract with an out of town buyer sight unseen. Unfortunately, when the out of town buyer walked through the property the following week, they decided not to buy. So, we put the property back on the market, soon receiving two new offers. While I was trying to decide which of the two offers I wanted to counter, Doug brought me a third offer to consider, which turned out to be the best offer. I did take the third offer and after much back and forth, through the inspection process to the closing, Doug was there giving me almost daily updates. The property sold within two months during an unprecedented pandemic. Of all the many many realtors I have worked with over the years, Doug has been the very best.
