In 2021, Doreen guided us as my wife and I explored the purchase of a home in the Holmdel area, coming from North New Jersey where we have lived. She ONLY considered our needs and interests, which was refreshing, and really optimized the process of seeing homes that actually made sense for us. In at least a couple of instances, she even correctly guided us away from homes that my wife and I thought were good fits, and that I'm confident other realtors would have let us proceed with, in order to just earn their commission as quickly as possible. Doreen is different - she really wanted to make sure the house was right for us, and we constantly felt like that was her only priority. Ultimately, we decided to not relocate to Holmdel, and this was now 3 years ago. To this day, when my wife and I have explored buying homes locally in North Jersey or out of state as we've considered that option, Doreen has repeatedly made herself available to us as a sounding board, even though there is nothing in it for her financially because we're no longer considered Holmdel. None of my agents in those transactions were as good as Doreen, not even close. Before I made the appointment to see her, I thought my house would be ready to go to market in two months. Doreen explained that there were many prospective buyers actively looking for a house like mine and it would be best for me to list my house immediately. Ten days later my house was on the market. Within 3 days, I received 13 offers. She made a bold assessment of the market and she delivered. Her job was mostly done at this point, but she was not. She continued to be on top of every little detail for the rest of the process, above and beyond her duty. For something as small as me hiring an expensive cleaning person before the closing, Doreen intervened, and saved me $800.
