We could not use our preferred lender, Chase. Told us 24 hours before the sale of our home in another state that we were not going to close on our home in Mississippi for another two weeks. This forced us to live out of suitcases for two weeks, have our belongings stored, pay professional movers twice, and out of pocket expenses totaling over $5,000. Had my family not needed a house by the end of this, we would have certainly gone with someone else.

Donnie Chambliss and his partner Margie Mays went above and beyond in making our home buying experience amazing. My family and I had been living in Vancouver BC, Canada. I was looking to get my wife and 4 children back to Desoto County. We knew the school district that we wanted to be in but did not know the hosuing situation inthis area. Donnie and Margie viewed and visited many homes on our behalf. We were physically 2600 miles away from Desoto County, but with the pictures and video that they took we felt like we were right there. We made the desision to move to Desoto County from Canada in January and by February 3rd we had closed on our beautiful new home in Desoto County. Thanks for everything Donnie and Margie!!!Sincerely,Brian Cassino

We used the team of Donnie and Margie to list/sell our home and then to buy our new home. They are both quite knowledgeable about the current market in our local area of DeSoto County, Mississippi. When we listed our house they were spot on as to what the price should be to have a quick sale. And while searching for a new home they both were willing to show homes at any time that was convenient for us, the client. They also kept in mind all of the needs we had for the new house and tried to include everything that was requested. Both of them were easy to reach and talk with at any time we needed. We had a 3 week window from when we closed on the sale of our house and the purchase of our new house and they were willing to negotiate with both the buyer and seller for us to stay longer in our old house and then move in earlier to the new house. Even after closing on the purchase of our new home they checked in on us to make sure we were happy and if everything was ok with the house. We would definitely recommend the team of Donnie and Margie to anyone who is buying or selling their home. You wont find a more qualified and dedicated team to work for you!

I couldn't have been happier with our experience with Donnie and Margie. They were both kind, gracious, and knowledgeable. They had an answer for any question we posed, and they were committed to finding a great home for us within our specifications. It was a privilege to work with them, and we will continually recommend them for all real estate needs.

We moved to the area and worked with Donnie and Margie about a year ago while building our new home. I only wish that we had found them sooner to have been our selling agents as well. Even though they weren't, they still gave us information that helped get our house in Memphis sold in just under three months. Donnie is the most knowledgeable agent you will find in Desoto County. No one knows the area or has the contacts like he does. In the rare occasion he doesn't have the information you need, he will quickly do the what's needed to find it. Communication was always fast and he was always ready to go to work for us. We believe he steered us in all the right directions. The buying, building, and closing process could not have been smoother and we credit Donnie and Margie for this. They went above and beyond. Over a year later, they still feel like family and we find ourselves calling Donnie for his advice and information about things in the area. What a great advocate for our fast-growing community! We are so lucky to have met them!
