Make sure you hire a Broker with a marketing background and good pricing strategy. Selling a house requires more than just putting a sign in the yard and entering it into the Multiple Listing Service.

I met with a young couple to discuss selling their house. They were not ready to sell yet so we talked about how to prepare their home to sell. They did everything we talked about then called me and said "we are ready". I put their house on the market and we had a contract the next day! Now time to find them a house... after quite a bit of searching, we found them the perfect house. We closed on their buy and sell...and every one was happy.

My background is in marketing. One day I decided that I wanted to put those marketing skills to work in real estate sales. That was in 1999 ... I have never regretted that decision.

I believe the school of hard knocks has been my best training! Good real estate agents work hard for their clients which I have always done. I possess a method of logical thinking that helps make the process of buying or selling a condo or home seem effortless to my clients. Also, my marketing background is a great foundation to getting homes sold! Recently I earned the BRCS RESORT Specialist Certification. I was the first of 7 Baldwin REALTORS with the required qualifications based on experience and other specific criteria to complete all the certification requirement.
