The Mowrey Group, specifically my agent Cari Knowles, are beyond helpful and I never felt uninformed during the complex process of searching for a home and purchasing. They even helped me find a new lender that beat my bank! It also helped that they (Mowrey and my lender) were familiar with the VA Loan. Their use of DocuSign is a godsend as well. Don Mowery was an amazing professional throughout the process, from start to finish. His initial consultation helped to determine an estimated market value to allow us to get an idea of what the net proceeds of our house sale might be. We had some improvements that were necessary before the house could be put on the market. Don connected us with his handyman, Joe, who assessed the house and worked with Don to determine the aEURoemust dosaEUR? that would be most beneficial for the sale. Don had the improvements and repairs funded through the escrow so that no out of pocket costs were incurred by us. This was a great relief since we were still in the middle of divorce proceedings when we contracted with Don to handle the sale. The house looked amazing when it was placed on the market. Don did an awesome job making sure it was ready to go and marketed it well with beautiful pictures and successful open house events. His experience really showed throughout the entire process. I would use him again without hesitation. He rocks! Dons other staff are also amazing. His Service Coordinator, Dawn Salmons, was always super responsive and helpful throughout the process. She stayed on top of all the necessary paperwork and addressed any question I had. She helped me with selling some large items from the house by posting them on their website. She connected me with a fantastic guy named Rocky who helped me clear out the side yard, hauled away excess trash and unwanted items, and helped me move furniture several times. Hes super friendly and helpful. Ive used him for other tasks since the sale of the house as well. The escrow process went well. The Mowery Group partners with New Destinations Escrow for a comprehensive selling process. Christine Quintana was a pleasure to work with. She was very mindful of all the details related to our sale, including dealing with a living trust and a divorce settlement agreement. Overall, I would highly recommend The Mowery Group. This was our first home purchase...and we've heard a lot of different horror stories from folks describing their experiences, but ours, was textbook perfection from the time Jason contacted my wife after she expressed an interest in the home we eventually purchased (off Zillow!). Jason is a pro. He not only looks the part, but acts the part. He knows his stuff...the processes, the laws, the ins and outs and gave us excellent advice along the way. Real friendly, very approachable, super attentive. He answered every call, returned every text, email, etc. The man was just...on...it...PERIOD. He turned an otherwise complex process into a great experience, and one that helped to demystify some of the stories you've might have heard - especially from first time buyers. He handled all the arrangements, booked appointments to show us properties, always was willing to come to us, and make it easy for us to close the deal with the former owners. As a result, the property was closed, the negotiations were efficient and fair for both parties, and everyone came out happy! I won't lie. My wife will confirm this, but I am not always the easiest person to please. I've always expected above average satisfaction, and the best customer service...because that is what is demanded of me! We all work hard for our money, and when someone expects you to just settle for mediocrity, most people take it - because that's the norm nowadays. It's like we have no choice anymore. Not with Jason. He made the calls for us so that we didn't need to. He coordinated the negotiations when the sellers agent wouldn't even return his OWN clients calls. If it wasn't for Jason? This purchase wouldn't have happened, plain and simple. I don't write reviews often, but when I do, it's because I felt compelled to let people know that there is either a potential for a great experience ahead...or a horrible one. This one is one of the best experiences I have ever had in recent memory, and it should be, right? Buying your first home? So like I said, we lucked out having Jason contact us. Now that you know what I have to say about Jason and his professionalism, and service, you don't need to be lucky. You just need to pick up the phone and ask for him by name. Thanks again, Jason!
