He is knowledgeable, a good listener, quick and sharp to know what we needed to list the house for sales and he delivered it. ZillowVERIFIED Don Lawyer Realty Team (& his associate, Jennifer Murphy) were a blessing to our family as we sold our parents' home and land in a rural area. They were professional, addressed our concerns and answered our questions (even on weekends), held multiple open houses, marketed effectively online, and changed online marketing & photos to keep ads fresh and updated. They brought us several offers, which allowed us to refuse those that didn't fit our goals for the property. We & the Don Lawyer team had to deal with an unprofessional buyers-realtor in the process (who was demanding, bullying, didn't meet deadlines in the contract, said things that weren't correct), but the Don Lawyer team kept us informed and walked us through the process to closing. They were also supportive when we'd made the decision to discontinue the contract if buyer didn't complete contract required documents which caused unnecessary stress during the process. (The buyers realtor sent the 'make or break the contract documents' at the very last minute). During the process, Jennifer & Don kept us informed, kept us on track to meet our seller-document deadlines (so that was always done ahead of time), and were calm. We did not feel pressure from the Don Lawyer team to accept any contract...or to walk away from any contract. They simply gave us information and guidance, and their insights, professionalism and knowledgeable experience was extremely valuable and appreciated. They truly represented us as sellers, but did not pressure us either. We never felt that their focus was to make a commission...we always felt their focus was to help us sell our property in best way possible for our family. They had been recommended to us by our friend (whose home had been on the market for over a year, but had not sold due to a disruptive neighbor. After listing with Don Lawyer's team, his home was under contract in less than 2 weeks and sold quickly thereafter). After speaking with our friend, we decided to visit with Don Lawyer and are very glad we did! He gave us accurate info regarding comps, best ways to list the property (which was unique in that it was rural acreage with older but beautifully updated home) and time line. We would recommend Don Lawyer without reservation, as well as his team. For any future dealings in DFW/Arlington area's we will use his company to buy or sell our properties.
