ZillowVERIFIED When buying a home you need to have the experience and advice from a realtor who knows what they are doing. My husband and I did not have the easiest time finding our perfect home. We looked and looked for a home that had all of the elements we needed to be comfortable and raise our children. Thankfully Diane understood our needs and helped us to remain patient after a few of the homes we put an offer in on fell through. When we did have an offer that was accepted Diane explained the entire process to us and recommended an inspector who came in and went through the home to set our worries at ease. Diane stood by our side through everything and answered all of my questions very quickly. My husband and I couldn't be any happier with the service that Diane gave us. I felt that we were her main priority through the whole process.

She was able to put my mind at ease with her knowledge by answering all of my questions no matter how big or small no matter when I called she always had time for my call. ZillowVERIFIED Diane was amazing to work with, as first time home buyers my husband and I really had no idea what was involved with buying a house. Diane explained everything from day one! After meeting with her for one hour, we both had a much better understanding of what buying a house entails. She explained in detail everything about buying a home from preapproval to closing! She made the process so much easier and now we have our dream home! Diane was very easy to communicate with, responding to my texts and emails in a very timely manner. She even made sure to stay in touch while she was on vacation and put in an offer on a house for us while being away! She was very polite and professional. She set up a personal webpage for us that would list all the homes for sale that matched the criteria we wanted in a home. Each time a new house that fit what we wanted came for sale, we would get an email. Diane went to look at countless houses with us and a bunch of open houses spending many weekends with us until we found our dream home. She would give us feedback on each house after we saw them, which was sooo helpful because we really had no idea what we should be looking for in a home. She also told us how much she thought the house was worth and always had comps printed out to compare the listing to. My husband and I work crazy schedules and opposite shifts, Diane was very accommodating to work around our schedules. She would often just send a text to check in on us which was sooo nice. I would 100% recommend Diane to everyone I know. We can not thank her enough for helping us find and get our dream home ??

ZillowVERIFIED Diane is the most thorough, knowledgeable realtor we've ever had! She's personable, honest and will get your house sold in a timely fashion. She goes above and beyond. Diane sent over an interior decorator to give me tips on what needed updating and what didn't. But she herself had already given me pointers, which I followed with great results. When my husband got his job offer we really needed to get our house on the market ASAP. Diane had it on the MLS in 1 day. She takes her own house photos as well. The very next day (Sunday), Diane had an open house and we got multiple offers. She priced our house exactly right and it was in good condition. Our house sold in one day!! We couldn't believe it! We live in an area that is in an economic downturn as well. Also it was Nov. 8th, not a great time to sell in the Northeast. Afterward, Diane was always keeping us informed with regards to the closing, giving us updates, etc. Great follow through! I cringe when I think about some of the homes we considered buying before meeting Diane and feel so thankful for her gracious way of providing direct and thoughtful insight into every property we've seen. Diane's knowledge is beyond impressive and she can quickly point out flaws, concerns or issues that may exist during a first showing. She has helped us identify areas or questions to bring up during the home inspection. We would never consider buying a house without her "stamp of approval"! Diane is genuinely dedicated to helping people find the right home and has been an excellent advocate for us throughout the entire process. She is TRUSTWORTHY and always looking out for our best interests, which is something we value immensely. She definitely cares about what's important to us in a home but she's also not afraid to let us know when we're being unrealistic and/or making suggestions to consider. Common phrases repeated by my spouse, parents and in-laws are "ask Diane what she thinks" or "in Diane we trust" (cheesy but true!). Finally, Diane is very responsive and clearly working at all hours of the day, night, year, etc. We have always been impressed with how quickly she gets back to us, no matter how insignificant the question. We really can't speak highly enough of Diane and would absolutely recommend working with her to all our family, friends, acquaintances, etc. You won't be disappointed!

ZillowVERIFIED Interviewed several real estate companies for sale of our house, we met Diane, felt an instant connection and hired her on the spot. Diane kept us well informed of everything that was going on and what we needed to do. Very responsive and knowledgeable. She made the buying and selling of our house fun and not very stressful. She helped out the buyers of our house who were from out of state. After we met the buyers they said they "wished Diane was their real estate agent of the sale of their house in Indiana". Their sale did not go as well as our sale. Two days before our closing there was a glitch with the buyers paperwork and the closing was being postponed after we scheduled the movers, changed utilities, etc. Diane who was on vacation on a boat somewhere in Spain found out about the issue and worked tirelessly thru all hours of the night pulled off some type of miracle to keep the same closing date. Don't know how she did it, but that is just her dedication to her clients!

ZillowVERIFIED We listed our house in Fairport, NY, initially with another realtor for six months just before we moved to another state. We never received any feedback from the previous realtor as to why the house is not selling. As soon as the contract was over, we signed with Diane Calcagno. She visited our house and told us what needed to be done to the house in order for it to sell. She personally contacted various service providers to get the repairs and various jobs done at the house and then relisted our property. She even brought over various articles from her house to stage our home since we had already moved and the entire house was empty. Within weeks of her new listing our house, the sale was completed. In fact, we had two offers very quickly. Initially we had felt so helpless being 2000 miles away to take care of things back in NY, but Diane arranged for everything and kept us in the loop. I honestly believe that our house would not have sold if it was not for the efforts of Diane Calcagno. I only wish that we had listed with her initially. But as a first time seller I fell victim to sales pitch from another realtor. Diane is a consummate professional and now feel that, as a realtor, always had my best interest in heart. And when I do travel to NY in future, I do have another friend to visit in Diane.

She listed our home helped us in preparing it to be sold, she also the began helping us look for a new place. Our requirements made finding a place difficult but Diane remained positive and continued to assure us that we would find what we wanted. In the end we gave up looking, but Diane kept in touch through E Mail listings that she thought we might like. Recently she arranged through one or her contacts for us to receive a free used Acorn stair rider,which has and will allow us to remain in our two story home for some time.
