As a seller I switched to Desiree because I was sick of my agent telling me why I should cut the price and accept delay after delay .My first experience with Desiree was when she asked me for 2 weeks to sell my beach house . She got a buyer at full list price within 2 weeks and we have been working together ever since . Since then she has sold numerous properties for me . She is by far the best real estate agent in town ., I have also used her for many buy side transactions ., She routinely fought for concessions and price breaks for me , Shr did the walk through and handled everything from contract signing to final closing . ZillowVERIFIED I was in Michigan buying in South Carolina. Desiree was ALWAYS offering to go look at and do a video call with me do I could see different options. She always responded very quickly. If she couldnt get right back to me she apologized and stated why. She knew my budget and my circumstances and was more than accommodating. She actually found my home I bought. I trusted her so much,I was under contract before physically seeing the house. Shes been phenomenal throughout the entire process. The most amazing thing though actually happens AFTER the closing and 55 days after being in my home. I was having issues with different things around my house that had NOTHING to do with her but I reached out to her to see if she could help. Literally within minutes things were being taken care of. She DIDNT need to get involved but she did. It seems rare nowadays where you see people go above and beyond so I really wanted to take the time to acknowledge Desirees dedication to her clients and her reputation as a phenomenal realtor. Over the three years of searching Desiree showed us multiple homes, townhomes, and condos which we felt met our parameters. ZillowVERIFIED First let me say I did so much research from areas to agents and listings for a vacation home. I came across a listing from Desiree and called her, we set up our first appointment and drove down to meet her and look at the home. From the very first moment we met Desiree we knew she was the one that was going to be our agent and find the perfect home for us in the perfect location!! (And for the record I'm a very very picky person) What you dont see a lot now are people that are down to earth. Desiree was professional but also down to earth which anybody can appreciate and one of the main reasons we fell in love with her. She was more than accommodating with her very quick responsive communication and showing homes to us in the same day sometimes, of course its not always possible but she made it happen quickly with her great reputation with other realtors in the area. We did take a few months to decide on a place and looked at many homes from Myrtle beach, North Myrtle beach to Little River/ Cherry Grove area. Desiree never once got aggravated or tried to push us on anything she was very patient with us and listen to what we wanted. She knew the areas and comps and she was always on time for a showing. So in ending the home we decided on in Little River was a 2 story 5 bedroom 2 car garage. She fought for us and saved us right at 10k dollars. She knows how to negotiate and get you a fair price and for that we are great-full we found her. There are not enough good things I could say about Desiree. She was a total stranger to us and now feels like family. Thank you for everything! If your looking for a professional, friendly and hard working agent who dont push you on anything, knows the area an listens to what you want then you cannot go wrong with Desiree Hooper.

Desiree was so friendly and helpful from the first phone call. Told her our interest in a property in Longs, SC. She was not the listing agent but took the time to look at it online with us. She told us about the area and how close it was to the beach and she would do some research for us. During the conversation we asked about some other properties. She checked them out with us and we talked about them. One of the properties she said does look real nice but stay away. And explained all the problems. We were very impressed with her professionalism, honesty and personality. Big plus was having an agent actually call us back the next day! lol Desiree got us all the info we needed and did a face time walk through with us. We got to ask questions and look at different parts of the house not covered by the original pictures. And showed us the neighborhood and the way to the beach! The whole process went smoothly. Now we have a nice place in SC and a new friend for life!
