ZillowVERIFIEDDennis is a pleasure to work with we were 3 hours away from where we where looking and he made it as easy as possible no easy feat in todays market. He was patient with us as we looked for the perfect shared family property. He also helped us through getting out of a purchase after a failed inspection at the first property we went to contract on.
ZillowVERIFIEDMy wife and I used Dennis for 3 real estate transactions. The first in 2013 and the second & third in 2020 (during the Covid-19 pandemic). We purchased a home in 2013. Then sold that home in 2020 and purchased a home on the same day in 2020. Dennis was extremely helpful. I personally work in the real estate world, however do no have much personal experience with purchases/sales. Dennis provided more information than I even thought imaginable. Dennis was responsive at all hours of the day. As you can imagine, selling/buying a house is stressful. Anytime my wife or I had a question, Dennis was there to relieve us of our worries. I have personally recommended Dennis to dozens of friends and colleagues in the past and continue to do so now. Thank you, Dennis!
ZillowVERIFIEDMy house had been on the market twice before I found Dennis. Previous realtors never understood my house--very modern; designed for me; not for everyone. They (the previous realtors) showed the house to many who could never live there. I had basically become extremely skeptical of any realtor understanding my house. Along came Dennis. Not only did he understand my unusual house but remarkably understood how to find the right buyers. Many realtors will tell you they how to market your house, but they dont; they simply do a mass market (ala gunshot) approach. Dennis marketed the house to the right demographic. Sold in less than 5 months in a tough market with 3 competing offers. Hats off to Dennis. I would use him again in a NY minute!! SAW
ZillowVERIFIEDFrom the very start, Dennis had my Claverack 1790s house listed in several websites and in appropriate print magazines. He was encouraging, competent, and went the extra mile. For instance, he connected me with good antique dealers helping me to clear the house before closing. I recommend Dennis Wheeler highly. Joel Bradley
ZillowVERIFIEDDennis was wonderful! He is really friendly and easy to get along with! He is extremely helpful in finding homes that fit my criteria. He is very knowledgeable about the area as well as surrounding areas. Dennis was always able to answer any questions I had about a property very quickly!
ZillowVERIFIEDWe are first-time homebuyers and Dennis could not have been kinder or more patient. He showed us all the places we wanted to see and even had some great recommendations that he thought would fit what we were looking for.He patiently answered all of our questions and was there when we needed him. We are now very happy homeowners and we have Dennis to thank for that!
ZillowVERIFIEDDennis has expert knowledge in real estate negotiations and valuations. He gets back to you right away and made our experience in buying seamless. Well definitely call on him again.
ZillowVERIFIEDDennis was great to work with, very knowledgeable and professional. He responded quickly to our request and followed through with his commitment. I would highly recommend Dennis
ZillowVERIFIEDDennis showed persistence and high energy to help complete a complex short sale. This required extensive interaction and follow up with 2 banks involed, the purchasers and their attorneys as well as myself and my attorney. Dennis expertise and positive outlook made this sale possible.
ZillowVERIFIEDAny concerns we had - and there were quite a few - Dennis responded to quickly and efficiently. Dennis is very congenial and doesnt buckle under pressure. He maintained a positive attitude throughout the entire house selling and showing process. We would recommend Dennis to any interested clients.
ZillowVERIFIEDAs first time buyers, my husband and I were extremely concerned and nervous through every step of the process. Dennis listened, was readily available, and went above and beyond to get us into the house that we wanted. The home buying process, which we anticipated to take a few months literally took 3 1/2 weeks. It was a wonderful experience, with minimal stress. We would absolutely look to Dennis with any future questions about buying or selling a home.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe found Dennis to be very enthusiastic about finding us just the right house.
