Howdy! I'm Debra -- a 7th-generation Texan who knows this area like the back roads you only find if you grew up here. My family moved to Austin in 1977... back when it was still called a town and nobody complained about traffic because there wasn't any. Since we lived just outside the city limits, I attended Pflugerville schools when the population was a whopping 300 people. That's when I discovered the perfect formula: wide-open spaces with a big city close by. I later attended Southwest Texas State (now Texas State -- because Texans love updating names but refuse to change traditions). I now call Bastrop County home. Before real estate, I owned and operated several successful businesses, including the area's very first home and pet-sitting service. Fun fact: the Yellow Pages actually had to create an entirely new category just for my business. If you don't know what the Yellow Pages are... we should probably schedule your showing before you make me feel older. I also launched landscaping and interior design companies and spent years renovating homes for investment flips -- which means I don't just sell houses... I understand them from the ground up. But my proudest title will always be Mom. Faith and family are the foundation of my life, and that same care carries into how I serve my clients. When I'm not negotiating contracts, you'll probably find me cycling country roads, tackling a home project, working in the yard, volunteering at animal shelters, or visiting residents in local nursing homes. Community isn't just where I work -- it's who I am. One thing you should know about me: the words "quit" and "can't" simply aren't in my vocabulary. Real estate takes experience, determination, strategy, and heart -- and I bring all four to every transaction. To me, the client-Realtor relationship is a privilege, not a transaction.
