I served 15 years in the Army and was a platoon sergeant. I would have to counsel lower enlisted soldiers about debt. Most owned houses that was far beyond their needs. When I would ask why they purchased that house, their response was always, my agent said I could. So when I got out of the military and my kids were grown, I made a promise to all my clients that I would guide them to make smart decisions when it came to making the most expensive decision of their lives.
