She turned her hat into a GC in the last stretch, getting the small stuff on the inspection report completed using her own resources as we the owners were out of pocket a bit. ZillowVERIFIED We are simple farmers who needed (for family reasons) to move our farm from California to New York. Just thinking about it (even now) makes me shudder! We took 10 days off from work and flew out to look at properties with a Real Estate company. They completely dropped the ball. So we were on our own in a rented car and on the open road left to our own devices! It was turning out to be a very fun, but non-productive event. We pulled over at a Coldwell Prime Properties office in Greenville, NY about 7pm at night, hungry and tired. We also had no clue where we were, but it was sure pretty! I got out of the car to get a little Real Estate Booklet and Deborah was just closing up shop. She would no hear "no". She took me in out of the cold and sat me down and listened to my story of woe and then what our ideal farm would entail. She seemed to understand exactly what we were looking for... functional, gorgeous, and within our budget. That was a lot to ask for, but she was not deterred. She called us (as promised) within 2 days with many listings set up for us to look at and took us to them. She was a perfect tour guide pointing out little-known facts about the area and what made certain pieces of property more valuable and which ones we would have to put a lot of $ into for various reasons. There was a few she automatically smiled at us with the look, "We'll be polite and look, but we are leaving ASAP!"This frank candor and good nature of hers left us feeling like we were not alone in the torture. The moment of "ahhh haaa".She called us from our house! She exclaimed, "This is it. I know it is!" and she sounded like we all had just won the lottery. "Get down here ASAP!" We did. It was the house of our dreams. In fact, everyone who sees it says it is the house of their dreams as well!We went back to our farm in California.She negotiated the house down to within our budget. Dealt with obstacles just by waving her magic wand. Mean people fell by the wayside. Barking dogs wagged their tails. Children never cried again. Money fell into our laps. Our world was made whole.Just by this one woman. Our advocate, our confidant, and now our new friend!Thank you Deb for making our dreams our reality!
