I grew up in rural New England, a child of the '50's. My parents were people who believed in hard, honest work and doing things right. My father owned the restaurant in town and my mother was a homemaker, raising my brother, twin sisters and me. As a teenager, I worked as a waitress in Dad's restaurant. It was there that I learned everything about great customer service. Everything had to be just right- a sparkling clean environment, great food, service with a smile; value for your money. Dad taught me that above all customer service was my primary responsibility. Our entire culture in those days was very customer-service oriented. Even at the local Esso gas station the service man not only ran out to pump my Dad's gas, but also washed his front and rear windshields and did it with a smile! This was all part of the service you received when paying for a tank of gas. Today it seems great customer service is something uncommon and we find ourselves remarking about it when we experience it. When I began my real estate career in 1989, I knew that the level of service I delivered to my clients would dictate my success. As my business has developed, expanded and changed over the past 20+ years the common denominator has always been following a few simple thoughts: Treat others as you want to be treated: honestly, fairly ~ and with a genuine smile.Do what you say you are going to do. Give people a great value for their money. While I am appreciative of the awards and recognition the team has received, the part that brings me the most satisfaction is that I have achieved these goals while maintaining these values. My reputable team members who share these values work as though they are selling their own homes and protecting their own equity. This team mindset ensures that each and every client receives the best possible results.
