Luckily, Dean had been showing the house to back-up buyers. The day after the buyer dropped out, we had a new buyer. At the same time, Dean was our buyers agent. He knows the market and can anticipate trends as well as what other buyers and sellers are thinking of.2. His experience is immense and his effort clearly shows. While other real estate agents may know their area because of their decades of tenure, Dean knows his area because of a combination of a decent amount of time in EG and his tenacity. His memory of homes is impeccable. Don't make the mistake of working with an agent that does it as a part time job or isn't fully committed. Dean quickly settled on a selling strategy that, in the end appeared to be the best one.Over a long process of emptying the house, Dean was there to handle contractor visits, visits to town hall, alarm problems, and anything else that needed to be dealt with. And after many months, when the original buyer backed out, Dean scrambled to resurrect another interested party, ending in a closing within the same month as the original buyer's date. Over the whole process, some eight months, Dean was never less than cooperative, creative, and optimistic. I can't imagine a better Realtor experience.

He was so knowledgeable about the area I was looking (East Greenwich), everything from schools to which spots can get noisy on Sat night.
