ZillowVERIFIED SHORT VERSION: Don't use anyone but Dawn to help you buy or sell a house, period.EXTENDED VERSION:"Five Stars" are nice, but they don't tell how good a real estate agent REALLY is - the proof of that is in RESULTS - and ours were the BEST.Dawn was professional and friendly - many agents aren't! Dawn helped us price our house much higher than other agents had suggested - more per square foot than any of the properties in our development and more than $10,000 higher than experienced "experts" on home prices in our area. Dawn did extensive homework on the "comps" (the REAL comps) and, just as importantly, took into account all of the upgrades and maintenance we had done to our house over the years. We took Dawn's advice on pricing - and it PAID OFF BIG. Dawn also expertly staged our house for maximum impact on potential buyers - which we could not have figured out how to do. Her experience loomed large in this area.Results? Full price offer on the first day on the market - within two hours after the first buyer saw the house. Closing was quick and smooth. No waiting for months for an offer that you had to negotiate after scores of "buyers" trampled through your house. Dawn also recommended a mover who turned out to be the best mover I've used in over 50 years of moving around the country MANY times. It couldn't have gone better!Two other key points:Dawn is part of the RE/MAX organization - a highly professional, experienced and successful organization - perhaps the best there is, in my opinion. When It was time I had to sell the house I inherited from my mother Dawn was able to guide me though the whole process. She took care of everything yet I felt involved in every step of the way. As a first time home-sale It felt great to have such a skilled and competent agent that was kind enough to bring me up to speed on all the process entails, whilst remaining patient and light-hearten and helpful. Even after Dawn would answered a lengthy array of my questions she never made me feel like an inconvenience or burden (as I've felt from other agents I've worked with). However, the benefit of working with her doesn't stop at sheer charisma or good-natured. Dawn being a seasoned realtor knows the in's and out's of the trade and works in a punctual manor and moves with alacrity. With one walk-though of a house she is able to mentally compartmentalize a list of things that may need attention, then explain what would be high propriety and what may be somewhat insignificant. Dawn quickly found us a buyer, but the most impressive part about working with Dawn is how cool and collected she is under pressure. We had a lot of last minute issues with the close of the condo from a fallen fire wall in the attic to faulty electrical. Dawn helped walk us through every problem, even getting a Master Electrician out to the condo on the DAY of CLOSING to repair some work our other "licensed" electrician could not complete. Dawn was available to us at all times. She makes you feel like you are her only client when you know she is actually a very busy realtor. Dawn is a wonderful person and a pleasure to work with.
