Over the course of about a year she answered my many questions via text and email and call, usually within minutes. She didn't miss a single step of the process, and in fact was usually early with all of the minutiae involved. I felt that I was in very good hands. I just closed on my dream home (!), but there was a house before this that fell through after inspection. Due to her extensive knowledge of contracting, Dawn was able to give realistic estimates of the repairs needed, and, most importantly, she helped me make the decision to walk away from a house I had lots of hope for but would have ultimately ended up being a miserable money pit. When Dawn herself wasn't available for an appointment, she had a member of her group be there in her place and they were wonderful and extremely helpful. ZillowVERIFIED When my husband and I began looking at houses, we were pretty confident that by using online resources such as Zillow we could successfully buy a house on our own without a realtor. It was only at my mother-in-laws insistence and recommendation that we ended up working with Dawn Bierker. We are so glad we did! The main reason why we cannot recommend Dawn highly enough is that we really felt that she was looking out for our best interests. This showed through her attention to detail at every step of the way. During the housing tour, she displayed a knowledge of houses by explaining what to look for and pointing out various aspects (good and bad) through the entire first visit. She made herself constantly available during all the steps of the buying process, including a six hour inspection! She pointed us to electrical, heating and structural issues we should look into before final sale, and while she made recommendations on who to inspect these issues, she was not pushy in this respect and her choices and comments were generally good. Mainly though, she negotiated for us more aggressively than we would have ourselves and got us a much better price than we would have been able to achieve. For the last four months we have been living in a home which is much nicer than anything we had imagined given our initial searching, and it was at a price that we could afford thanks to her! Anyone would be lucky to have Dawns guidance in their search for a new home.

ZillowVERIFIED Dawn helped me purchase a rental property in Oakland in the Spring of 2015. After reviewing many options and putting a few different bids that fell through (seller of that place was ridiculous) we finally settled on the target house. Dawn was great, we ended up negotiating the house down over 10% from asking price mainly due to Dawn's connections within the industry. Where normally a buyer would need to get multiple trades in to evaluate a house and get quotes (after the home inspection) Dawn was able to leverage her relationship with a general contractor who evaluated all the changes that would need to be made on the house and gave us one bid sheet detailing all the work with costs. All I had to do was show up and meet with Dawn and the GC, she took care of the rest. This was a huge help and saved me a ton of time in the process (not to mention this was the main driver of the price reduction). Through the whole search and purchase process Dawn responded quickly to any questions I had. If I sent her a text or called her she would respond immediately. I really enjoyed my real estate experience with Dawn and would use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone.
